on paper is malaysia land, but under jurisdiction of singapore laws. so anything that happens in there, are still enforced under singapore laws.

 

remember the case whereby there was a bar or nightclub operating in KTM itself couple of years back? singapore police stepped in and intervene the operations..

btw, yeah what the others say is right. The is no way u can get ur license back once u are charged. hopefully yu learn from this unfortunate event and do pass the message around to those u know. Life has to go on, accept the fine/suspension and once the suspension is over, pick your self up and get back ur 2B.

 

Like what my instructor to me, our License is a privilage. cherish it.

Guys,

 

i'm in a world of ****. yesterday night i rode my newly bought super4 out for supper, on my way back i encountered a road block. of cos i couldn't produce insurance and i dun have 2a (my 2a tp is next mth). he say he will summon me for riding without valid licence and without insurance and my case will be referred to tp.

 

does anyone here noe exactly wad are the penalties of these charges?

 

and can anyone here pls give me some advice of how to mitigate these charges? i know the consequences are grave (probably all classes of licence gantung plus heavy fine) and it was a moment of folly, but things have already happened and i hope i can do some damage control.

i think LTA should just come up with a rule whereby selling the machine alone is prohibited. meaning if u want to buy a bike... u have to show the bike shop the relevant licenses.

 

costs of the bike may go up... but so what? who ask all these naughty kids buy bike without license.... lay up... and still dare to take the bike and ride around.

huh izit??? But i tot should be ok wat but izit a chargable offence? When you just turn on engine without sitting on the bike and not wearing helmet. Just stand beside it and turn on the engine or mabbe throttle abit? I think alot of newbie need to knw as i not too sure if its chargable.

anyway... many yrs ago, my gf was at a wake... there were a few biker frends there... biker A has class 2A while biker B only has 2B... B wanted to test the feel of A's bike coz he intends to get 2A... so off they go to A's bike... B sat on it & started the engine without helmet... patrol car happen to come in & jux stop to check on them... to cut the story short... both kena revoke... never ride... jux engine running but he was sitting on it without helmet...

ehhhhhh that wasnt my main point of the post.. i posted that as an example for breaking traffic laws.. who here hasnt broken one single traffic law at all..
