extended hours for inspection at STA Sin Min & Boon Lay.

no need to take leave or time off or rush down after work or "spend" Sat mornings cos the 2 sites open till 9pm on Mons~Fris

exchange rate as at 12.50pm today is S$1 : Rm is 2.421 (it was higher earlier in the morning). i changed some (at parkway parade) since we go in so often

haven't seen such rates since sep/oct 2009 so if you need some Rm soon, it may be time to do so.

Went to watch the 'Priest' during lunch time.

Supposed to be normal movie but they screened the 3D version instead.

Management only knew of mistake after 5 mins and then gave us (abt 10 viewers only) the 3D glasses.

 

They also apologizes and offer us free movie (non-3D) within the next week (redeemable with today's ticket).

 

So nice. Will watch Pirates next Monday.

Maxima 10/40 is good enough.

Otherwise Mutol 10/40 also boleh.

Get any 15w/50 EO at your own risk.

 

Price difference only abt $2 between shops.

No need grow white hair to choose which one to go.

good price is subjective, depends on individuals

 

can consider LiquiMoly racing synth 10W50 (10W40 is semi syn) for local riding and for good response. very smooth & quick at acceleration, but maybe a tad "thin" for long haul high speed touring (e.g. to thailand). still can use (atlantic 200 use it on his fazer for touring) but i personally prefer something a tad thicker and didn't use it for final drive. check with equipment extreme for more info. costs abt $26/bott

for all rounder, i'ld recommend maxima extra 10W40 full syn (currently using) for smooth engine and can easily last 8k kms (i change at every 5k). i'm also using it for my final transmission and no problem with long haul touring up north. this eo is carried by many workshop and costs about $21~$24/bott depending on workshop and your friendship. wouldn't recommend the maxima 15W50, too heavy/thick (slower pickup).

i change at future scootering for $21/bott as it is very near to my workplace. change eo is simple job, no need whatever super skill one; as long as properly done and reasonable price ok liow. alternatively, go find ah choong ($23/bott)
