This Thursday (29 Mar) will be last meeting before the trip. ** No meeting on 5th Apr as we need last check and sleep early.

Any question with regards to GPS, Rest Points, bunking, places of interest, additional cost to cater for, etc, please ask.

Otherwise I would ASS-U-ME everybody is clear about the plan.

Some points to note:

1. Rest points along NSHW are quite standard. Do remember the points (GPS) and meet up if you happened to need detouring for urgent matters. No lead bike here (OTOT) but got sweeper.

2. Most trips to places of interest (listed in blog) are best to go together but are optional. Cannot force ppl to go fish tank, right? Hmm, I didn't list that...

3. I may book the ferry tickets in advance just to secure the slots but ride timing must have allowance. I've planned to reach Donsak (1pm), 1hr prior to ferry departure (2pm). Can have lunch at Terminal or on board ferry.

4. We will drive around Samui with rented Van (approx 1500thb or less) on 2nd Day. If cannot, then will alternatively either 2 cars or own bike or Kupkia rental at 200thb.

5. Can bring your own Songkran weapon from here or go Hatyai (return trip) then buy.

6. Lead bike for Thailand route would be Robin and 2IC whyzee. Pls set GPS. Speed should be around 100km/h due to human/animal factors along the road sides.

7. For room sharing, pls be considerate of the other person. No peeping or sleep walking.

what else?

Anyone running HID H7R for SW high beam... Cos usually I put HID onto my bike high beam for bikes...Come across this H7R for reflective lens like SW...Wonder any place to hold the ballast???

Some said not good idea to use HID for high beam cos it takes time to warm-up, hence cannot use for quick flashes.

One thing that need to consider....

But when it comes to light throw...The HID really wicked...I used to tour at night with my HID can reach the spd up to 200kph...When my balls are much harder compared to now...Just looking at options as the latest H7R is for reflector lens....

Bike not feeling well.

After belt change, roller change (using SW green rollers), spark plugs change (IUH24), air filter change (stock) and EO change (Maxima 10W40) and tuning... plus tire balanced.

Bike still felt vibration when accelerating.

Grrr...

1. Tires? 11k liao. Rear already uneven wear.

2. Rollers? Green ones too heavy for SW-T, operating at 0.4k less rpm @ 90km/h? Standard used to be 5k rpm for 90km/h but now only need 4.6k rpm. Almost 3g difference...

3. Uneven wear in the variator groove? Rollers not moving in/out in syn?

4. Fork oil getting too old/thick? Causing minor road unevenness to be felt?

5. Rear suspension too soft at 4 (because me fat) thus tilting the bike profile?

So many things to check.

Probably need to wait for new rollers (red color) to come then change everything together.
