From eye-balling, looks tight. Standard is about 27mm; so additional 20mm clearance needed.

Are you able to do an eye-ball how much clearance you have left after installing your 33mm 3W LED?

I checked not possible, with my 33mm, I guess left about 5-8mm of clearance.

Thanks, I think the 3W should be the max already.

I've also checked Osram Night Breaker Plus - cheap on eBay (slightly more than half-price) vs $60/$70+ in SG. Will be ordering a few.

Actually Philips DiamondVision and CrystalVision look nicer as closer to white but not LTA friendly. Too troublesome to take out yearly for inspection.

I'm not sure about ACM but I know that K & T at Ubi has it.

Should be around $50+/- with installation.

It's 50 at ACM. Brand Koso. Yogi installed it on his Goldwing when I was there on Sat...

6 Jul 12 is my Off Day.

Was thinking of a 1 night stay at Genting... but no rooms available.

Then wanted Malacca... but just been there in early May.

Otherwise a breakfast run to Kluang then shopping at Indah and massage at Reborn.

Hmm... birthday got free 1 hour.

And how to I get rid or prevent the smell after I ride.

I got quite embarrass at times when I reach my customer's place. They told me I smell like dispatch rider.

Thanks ...

We normally smelt like a bike rider. hehe.

Wanna smell nice must buy car but eat grass.

Anyway, 2-stroke bike riders are worst.

Really, a jacket helps.

I usually wear a denim jacket over my polo tee or T-shirt. So far so good. Even small distance I also wear denim jacket. Got road rush before can be very painful. Go Giant and buy, less than $20, quite thick.

If possible, wear mesh jacket. Not only will it let cool air to flow around your shirt, it'll also help to keep the heat out and not give you a tan from the recent hot hot weather. Haha.

I do have a mesh jacket from my old bike. But I feel like a oven when I am wearing it.

Or maybe it was a old design ?

There is at B1 at the old building beside the department selling baby stuff.. I recommend GIANT tampines, the one I am using cost me $18.99 cheap and good. I have 3 for my weekly wear.

Hot to me is relative luh. I prefer to wear jacket even when its 36 degrees, rather than to be exposed to the Sun. Haha. As long as we're on the move, the cool air will flow into the jacket and around our shirt. Haha. At least that's what my jacket does.... =D

My jacket doesnt seem to allow air to flow too ... when I remove it ... inside full of sweat. I need to use towel to dry myself ... hahaha ...

Of course will sweat a bit. I no wear jacket also will sweat kind. But wear jacket somehow keeps me cooler than the 36 degrees ambient temperature.

Normal body temperature is 37 degrees, but that's internal temp. External temp should be cooler as its losing heat to the environment. Haha.

Most jackets, windbreakers, are not breathable, and you will feel stuffy cos they couldn't wick away perspiration.

and yes, you will feel hotter if you don't cover up your skin too. But you will stuffy/sweaty if you have a non wick material jacket.

Thus, either a wicking material windbreaker. Salomon etc, but they usually cost quite a bit.

or, as suggested a mesh jacket. There's 2 type of mesh jacket generally, single layer, and double layer type.

The single layer are alot better for air ventilation at low speed, and double layer are more effective for high speed, and they tend to be heavier too.

I suggest mesh jacket as it will add further protection. motoworld used to sell a particular single mesh jacket for around $120.

Putting on the mesh jacket will still carry the biker signature.

If anyone feels hot while wearing the wind breaker, just wear it reverse(zipper at the back). Any hot air will escape from the rear. I always do that and I don't feel very warm even under the hot sun except bike stop moving for more than 5 minutes.

Anyway ... I will go and look out for a mesh jacket.

Just got a denim jacket for the time being at Giant at $19.90/=

Preferred the other that cost $30+, but the XXL seem like Meduim to me ... cant even fit.

And got myself a spray as well.

And whyzee .... where do I stray ???

I know it sound dumb, but I really have no clue. As I dont even know where the smell came from only my client knows ... hahaha ...

I did a search, it is smell of the road and exhaust fume ... are they ?
