I personally dislike carbon fiber look. Maybe to protect the paintwork??

you paste over it and "cover" your paintwork.

 

To me ... it is more like cover up spoilt paintwork .... hahaha

The real carbon fiber to improve rigidity at the same time reduce weight.

If I use CF sticker, does it mean I dont have to shampoo my bike, just spray water and it will be clean ?

Nope... CF vinyl sticker only for aesthetics. Looks like real but not. Actually come to think of it again, it adds weight. Real CF are molded according to the shape of the parts and then they replace it entirely...

For me, I stick CF sticker not really for aesthetics, since glossy sticker finish IMO looks nicer.

 

The CF sticker for mine is the darker kind, so the fiber effect actually is more than able to cover up me scoot's dirt for the front fairing. Haha. Previously, with the matte black front fairing, any signs of dirt and dust is clearly noticeable. It's now camouflaged by the fiber effect!

Bird **** will be slightly more difficult to clean due to the texture of the CF sticker...
