Keith Code "A twist of the wrist II" is a good read for some theory and concepts.

Got it! Good contents :thumb:

Can try start of with something light maybe the Honda Twister 250 or the Honda Hornet 250. These 2 have a rear monoshock setup which will give better handling.

Was thinking a CB400 since parts are widely available and tyres are of good size. Sliders and crash bars too!

I also can do it... after half a year.

Who wants to donate bikes for training?

MotoX also can. Any schools in SG that do this?

Wow .. uncle ... when crash only bike pain ... body not pain ah ?

When crash, body pain, bike pain and pocket pain!

That's why you see they wear full racing suit play Gymkhana... Most to most is bruises. When they fall is usually during the turns and slalom. At such a small course, your speed not so fast der...

Light bike will be less pain. But they use VFR800 for Japan police!

Today, I finally did something that I wanted to do for a long time - I took out the front crowling!

Planning for meter mod to LED. Also, seems like the only way to get to the screw / nuts for parking brake cable tautness adjustments, when nothing further can be adjusted at the brake caliper. It's like adjusting bicycle brakes.

Only handles purchases from China? Else rates look attractive. vPost is over-charging.

Why a sudden rush to replace clutch assembly bearings?

TMD, petrol prices increased without us knowing / notice given. 8.5% or $0.15 for Synergy 2000.

Worn out liao... Ah Choong took out the bearings and saw signs of wear & tear. Also when I close throttle, there is a very loud sound... Klook3...

Damm, I thought the per barrel price dropped. There should be a drop in petrol prices instead.

The iPhone app "Road Trip LE" is great. In the past, just pump blindly. Now can track easily.

Got this. Now I understand why 3 wires.

Red: Power (+)

Black: Ground (-)

Blue: Signal (+)

The signal (+) is the one that you want to measure the voltage. ie, I can hook it up to, say, a solar panel output, to measure the voltage and that can be different from the power supply voltage. But for bike, usually just connect Red and Blue together to the switched battery (+) for simplicity. Can measure from 8v to 28v.

14.4v is batt. 12v is sw.

sw off. batt still attached.

if sw wire to another power supply.

as told by my mech: best reading accuracy is to connect 2 wires direct to batt, using the key sw to on-off voltmeter. but we normally did per what uncle said, less troublesome.

AN650L3 (current): All mod transferred.

SW-T400 (till oct 13): voltmeter, safety features disabled. coocase v36+remote. Adjustable, folding Brake levers. Givi AF318 windshield. on-off switch(pilot light, head light, hazard light), electrical seat unlatch,Dr pulley.

AN400K6 (apr07-dec11): side deflectors, J Costa variator, Dr pulley slider + HiT clutch.

YP250, RVF400/RS250, NSF125.

My normal one also not accurate ... when show empty .. I go top up ... only pump 10 litre only ...

could it be the float sensor not working properly le?

if still under warranty, can get BS to fix it; if no more, not too expensive to change.
