Bar ends I'm using the Phantom bar ends. Nice chrome, heavier in weight and fits well. Just have to grind off the tab that Hondas usually have on the bar ends and you're good to go. Diameter flushes nicely with the BMW grips. Best of all, $18/pair from Eversuccess.

got myself a brand new.... traded in beemer

i see.. might takes awhile to get use to the bike wor.. especially making a turn with it.

Do stay cautious in multi storey carpark, not to throttle too hard if the floor is slippery.

It's not a easy bike to ride. But it's so quiet n smooth. Omg..

Guys anyway to prevent my panel where I put my foot from getting discoloured? I saw 1 sw on the road with discoloured panel

there's one thing i like about silverwing, is so smooth and quiet. pretty diy friendly as well. main concern is the bike is reliable!

there's couple of ways to prevent those dashboard from deteriorating.

Eg. respray them, apply liquid kiwi (it works hor), apply Maxima SC1 Silicone Detailer (can from mustafa).

Silverwing 400cc / 600cc Tech Corner

1st 10 Enhancements?

my personal recommendation for starters are

* top-box for additional storage, especially if you like to carry lots of stuff like me :p

* fit a loud horn (you already fitted)

* change front fork springs to hyperpro, costs around $300+ with installation & oil ... can ask Unique or Motoworld

* add fork seal protectors when changing fork spring ... buy from FJT

* use irridium plugs (denso IUH-24 is proven) ... buy from LAB (cheaper) or any motortiam

* change to big-n-heavy bar-ends (aka balancer) ... many motortiams have

* add a switch for hazard light & another for main head light ... can go find ah choong (AC Motor)

* add a 12V "cigarette" socket under the seat (SWT doesn't come with one) ... can go find ah choong (AC Motor)

* change to BMW throttle grip ... buy from BMW (Bt Timah), costs

* shift the IU to inside the right glove compartment ... can go find ah choong (AC Motor)

Best for SWing to go to would be AC Motor (Ah Choong). Even though I from CCK, going to ACM would still be satisfaction guaranteed that my bike is in good hands.

Went back K & T to reset my tires. Got another 2 pop sound.

I guess the tire was not fully expanded initially?

Anyway, also found that my steering cone is worn liao. 62K km already. Result of going through the punishing Mae Hong Son...

Need to send in for a full day to do the job. Will also take the opportunity to change coolant since the whole front fairing must be taken out.

Don't know yet. Might schedule a day near end Mar 13, 2 weeks before my Hatyai ride.

I think robinowyong has done his recently.

Jack the front wheel off the ground. Hold the forks and turn left and right.

Should be smooth.

If got restriction or wanting to 'rest' at a certain angle, then probably the cone is worn.
