Gd Morning frenz,

 

I would like to enquire abt X9 250 Evo engine. View one recently and notice that the engine give a quiet loud 'rattling' sound or if I can say, sounds like a Ducati engine. Is it norm?

 

This is my maiden attempt to own a scooter. Hope anyone here can advice. Thank you.

 

Hey buddy if its coming from the transmission side perhaps can ask you prefered mech to check on it something might tightening or replaced.. =)

For an X8, is there a major service interval at 80K km?

 

Just to share mine is already clocked 90+++ km still just a basic maintenance .

 

-Belting(stock)

-Rollers(stock)

-check on clutch

-check transmission bearings

-check variator

-coolant

-service carb

-front n rear wheel bearing plus steering cone

-check your spark plug and battery charging

-know where ur fused are located

 

Etc perhaps got something ii left out enlighten me if theres any..

weekly mitups,or even short trips occasionally will be very nice...well i noe x9 had pass its top era haha,but im sure mny still holding 1,ive hd my ride coming to 4 mths...never had an oto scoot b4,rily nice to ride man......rode to kukup,jb last week wit my bro,his on silverwings...despite the hot wheather,its quite pleasant cruise...maybe weekends bfast to jb guys??

Ok the contacts i have is inside my bike and im now at home. Perhaps later when im free ii snap pics his detail for u to contact.

 

Last time ii paid was S$650 waited nearly 3mths the process of making one i think n its from italy.

 

This is ma 1st scoot too plus the furthest i went recently its sepang for motogp and just last week i go makan seafood @ sungai rengit town. Wah weekend breakfast sure like shiok. =) im residing in pasir ris btw.

Thank you for that compliment , slowly do from day 1 =) , the only major replacement was the radiator.

Wah, kaizer. fantastic you get to go sepang on X9. almost 10 yrs ago , i nearly rode my superhexagon there but mid way, rear tire got nail. i was very surprised because just as i left the rest area Pagoh, then the tire felt flat. i suspected somebody must have put it there.then started to push the scoot back to Pagoh rest area.

previously, many x9ers go to upper malaysia.

No. push about 1km to Pagoh. then went to the petrol shop. ask around if they know anyone who do patch up.waited for 1 hout then finally a guy came and patch up and off i went to malacca instead. I call up my friends who went earlier to Sepang that I could not make it.

wah beside my own x9, i think your x9 looks very good.

hahaha. thats how i feel about my x9. call her darling and honey too. i have had many temperamental x9 before (4 before) but somehow amny of the problems are similar. cone bearing lah, engine mounting, coolant, needle breakdown and the best LCD spoil. but somhow i still crave for x9

My next projek is titanium nitrate fork e same material like ohlins,if all goes well and my ot save up like mountain december ii shall ask ma contacts to order from italy n build me 1 =)

 

Someone is sellin $650 , maybe ii should grab it and keep e spares hehehe

Kaisan, any bit cheaper way to increase front fork stability den nitrate? I change rear sus and make it a bit hard I like it now but my front side go 120 like about to giv way like dat...

That nitrate fork projek still pending if my cash in hand no money than ii jus dream it will come true.. hehehe

 

Tire flat problem i think the patch(cacing in malay) will come in handy and the co2 small canister wif its pump i bring bout 10bottles of it , perhaps we shall look into a mini portable pump which can be activated by our cigg power socket below our seats =)

 

 

Perhaps we can change the springs to bitubo inside the cylinder to increase the hardness plus do a normal servicing will suffice.

 

End of the day this bike will simply bring u from A to B with a not so slow speed or high speed superbike. Just a humble scoot =)
