Went to AC Motor(1st visit) with the intent to book an appt with Ah Choong to service EO and change out left mirror plus left rear tail panel after getting the spares from HL.(Minor damages sustained by previous owner during parking incident)

Was pleasantly surprise he was able to take on the job that very day itself and he est it will take abt an hour to complete.

His technical/engineering know how of the Tmax was evidence during the entire service process including the replacement of parts.

As promised he completed the job under an hour.

Overall a friendly approachable boss with quality workmanship at reasonable market rate.:thumb:

O so that was you. I remember we met before when I was riding Versys 650.

Hi Fusionjaz, noticed that you're using the manual cruise control device on your ride. May I know where did you get it and how much?

Or any kind soul can advise where to purchase this locally? It looks just like the link below:

I got it from M-technic. Anyway I hardly use it when I am travelling anything above 120km/h.

I just don't feel safe without two hands on the handlebar.

I notice I only use when I move off from petrol stops and if I need to do minor adjustment for my helmet or riding gears.

Cheers

I got my Tmax oil changed last Fri 1st Nov 2013 and a new left side air filter cost 3 bottles Maxima $69 and air filter $45....I think is reasonable for after 5000km.

My next oil change I will try put in the washable oil filter cum oil cooler and magnet inside to pick any metal grit if any. Ordered from States around SGD$152

maybe other will try also to save cost on normal paper oil filters$T2eC16R,!yUE9s6NFH6PBS!ywMc!ZQ~~60_12.jpgIMG_3744[1].jpgPCS1info_zps65f69e31.jpg

That's pretty ex for an oil filter. Although it's serviceable. Can get almost 20 pieces of Malossi oil filters if you order direct from Malossi's Italy web store. I ordered 10 when I got the bike a year plus ago and still have 7 more. If I strictly follow the manual which states oil filter to be changed every 20'000km then my stock can last a lifetime or till I hit 200'000km on the odo. Hahaha

rien d'autre que le max.

That's pretty ex for oil filter. I ordered 12 pieces of DMV magnet oil filter from Taiwan and I believes that I could use it for lifetime too if I follow the service manual too. I still have 10 pieces available and anyone interested can PM me.

My friend kumon1979 you read it wrong , its left air filter that I changed for $45 as that time no stock....oil filter is cheap and I wanted to use the new one that can be reusable type that I ordered from States on 5 Nov 2013 during my next OIL FILTER change end Jan 2014......hey usually new oil filter change every alternate oil change that's 10000km, hahaha I can afford why not$T2eC16J,!yEE9s5jDYfoBS!ywKKJ-w~~60_14.jpg$T2eC16R,!yUE9s6NFH6PBS!ywMc!ZQ~~60_12.jpgPCS1info_zps65f69e31.jpg

U can order from anywhere, Taiwan, States, whatever country u like no harm as it serves the purpose.. quality, country of origin of manufacture, shipping charges to destination country la.......it cost US$93.95 and shipping US$28,considering rate of exchange also during ordering time
