I bought mine (530) in Dec for $18k. 1st registered Mar 2013 and it had about 10900 miles (17540km). Base on owners manual, the next service should be at 40000km.

When I bought mine, I requested the agent to do a thorough check on the whole bike and service which included oil change, oil filter change, check on all the air filters and clean, check all the electronics.

They also help me transfer and install my top box.

Later I found out they overlooked checking the bulb for the license plate which surprisingly was missing.

They replaced it for free.

I guess you have to do a thorough visual check on it yourself on the external parts and if possible ask them to start the engine so you can check all the meters, lights, horn , signal and slowly rev the engine to see if there are any weird noise from the engine and belts.

If you have a friend who owns a Tmax, it would really help.

Thanks for ya input. I just feel that 37000kms is a tad too high for a 2 year old bike. About 18500kms a year. Some more i am new to automatic scooter. What type of servicing required once hit 40000kms? Will try and nego with the bike shop to perform such services. Else i will look somewhere else.

Changed mine at Ah Chong for $160 but it's yuasa ytz10s. Not sure why the difference and what's the stock battery..

Stock battery is ytz12s based on the manual stated. I checked from internet on the differences between ytz and ttz. No difference in specs but only thing is ttz position angle cannot tilt more than 20 degrees. Tmax is ok as the battery is positioned flat and not tilted

18500 km /year is about 1500km /mth.

I had mine for about a month and have already done 1700km.

Thats my transport for Mon - Fri, occasional ride on weekends, not been to M'sia yet.

To me 1500km /mth within S'pore is average.

However, I cant be sure whether that Tmax has been ridden little in SG and a lot in M'sia, so it's a risk one has to take.

I saw a white TMax 500 in Looi's last week.

Didn't ask the price.

I think its a FBG plate

woo nice=) thanks for the info!! btw are there any ways to lower the bike? Tmax I tiptoe to the max

Hi, I'm also 1.63m and truely tmax is very high for us. But once you get used to it, it's quite easy to handle the bike. Ocassionally you need to shift ur butt slightly more to one side and sit more in front so that ur foot can touch the ground more.
