Hi Bros....I just bought a Sep2104 TMAX...not sure if I have any regrets or not cos i am sick of riding my sportster..

 

Any advices what to pay attention to riding the TMAX... Thanks a million for some advice...

Pay attention to e speedometer as u'll hit 3 digits in lesser time than u expect... 😊

Wonder how u can see that there is no sign of damage since the V belt cannot be seen as it is enclosed within the assembly.

The belt you see connecting to the rear wheel(Tmax 530) is not the V belt as per say. This drive belt should last min abt 70K.

 

Changing V belt at 25K is pushing it(Yamaha recommend change at 20K).

Changing V belt at 30K is really pushing it but Safety is relative to individual.

 

Guess if in country should be okay for break down service but not advisable if you plan to travel up north.

 

ABS model of course lah.

 

I can't agree more... Preventive maintenance is a wiser & smarter thing to do.

loving the acceleration and speed. all vehicles seems road hogging to me now.

Wait till u bump into the BMW Cs or SRV....

 

bumped into a mazda 3 this morning on CTE. he was fast. coz i was travelling at more than 70mph and yet was travelling alongside with me, even overtaking me on certain stretches until he decided to keep left and exit to TPE

HL having promo now, top up $350 for akra exhaust. I still waiting for mine end of mth, but no matt black stock currently.

 

I wonder will the Matt Black color easy to maintain?

I'm still thinking whether wanna get Matt Black or Glossy Dark Grey..... :confused:

bro, to me maybe matt black lesser water marks compared to glossy.. i getting glossy dark grey cos bike shop says matt no stock currently. Pros n cons lo.. i guess i will be pasting stickers to protect it.
