All mirror stock make the bike ugly or cheapo to be frank but this 2015 model is nice as a whole package unless u invest in high end after market part but that does not make your bike nicer as individual nice part does not make the bike nice. It how u do up your bike.

To me if mirror not a must the best is mirror less. Done that for my 2b(sport bike) and shiok(the look and going between traffic) however as time goes I learnt that mirror really play a very important role so no more removing plus want to stay out of trouble with tp.

Items on the periphery do affect the outlook of a bike, i feel personally.

 

I do like nice mirrors like those on the C650GT, SRV850, GSX1000RR. But not like those on the older R1s or current S1000RR. Having integrated lights make a bike looks sleeker.

 

BTW what are the legal system for tmax ?? So far I only see akra on road , what about other make?? No legal one?

More powerful same to me it not about the power. It more of making the bike more "light", let the engine breathe and not like got power but blocked that kind of feel which my tmax is having now.

Got power u can feel it one but the exhaust cause of the legal issue was chocking the bike.

Not the weight type of light.

It breathe easily, it flow without blockage.

It will able the bike to perform. When u turn the throttle u will see the smoothness of the rpm instead of lagging response.

Or am I the know one?? Same for changing to a knn filter. For better air flow.

I guess for the engraved type of akra had to go back to Hong leong. That pipe had tmax wording below the akra. Wanted to ask when I'm at Hong leong but the lady was on the phone all the time even after I approached her. She totally ignore me and carry on her conversation.

Stock pipe??

Akra sticker logo was quote ard 1.9k by unique motor.

1.9k? I got mine less than that direct from works performance. Down side is DIY installation but it's not too difficult. No need to remove any fairings also.

 

HL also no more of the Akrapovic with the Tmax logo. A friend of mine recently got his and it came with the sticker type exhaust.

Ok called Hong leong and the price was attractive with installatiom, was told it a promo price till further notice but like what EJ had mentioned no more engraved Akrapovic tmax logo. All sticker type now.

Also seen like here is very quiet.

Very limited tmax rider?? I saw Alot Otr especially last sat when I was at motoworld.

3 new 2015 tmax with fbk plate however all Ang mo.

Hi may I know if tmax servicing and maintenance more expensive than normal 400cc scooter? The difference about how much? I am still thinking of a 2013/2014 2nd hand tmax or a new 2015 tmax.

Yamaha tmax parts are not expensive if comparing to european brands like aprilia and piaggio. Parts such as scooter belt, rollers, filters. Of course there are other aftermarket brands to compare with. 2013 to 2015 tmax engine parts are the same.

Servicing and maintenance are same as a 400cc scoot. No different at all.

Changing of part is not exp like one of the bro mentioned here. Yamaha still a Jap brand so Normal pricing and cheaper if u DIY.

Only the machine pricing is on the high side other than that it just a Jap bike.

Go for the new 2015 if can.

I read this thread and found that the FC is about 19kmpl. Is that a normal range for a 400 - 650 cc scooter?

 

So far any Tmaxers use this bike for touring?
