hello 3gk ppl.. i've recently been thru an accident and i need some help with parts.. basically my whole front part is gone and i'm looking for the ferrings... i'm riding an 06.. front panel(center and sides), front light, and most dashboard parts(the plastic part that has the keyhole, air vent and center panel for the petrol tank) ur help will be greatly appreciated.. anyone selling the parts can call me at 94571095-iman

Evening brothers,

 

Just a few questions to ask, anyone that can answer will do.

 

1stly, kalau motor gilera vxr 07 dah pakai for around 3 yrs, is it a must to change hose and stuff? Dad's bike few days ago bocor... He says that all the hose inside his bike dah keras... Afraid that it will happen to me while on the road... So thinking wanna change to a better quality hose den normal ones, how much does it cost? wanna do change all the hose inside my bike if its within budget.. or perhaps the colored2 ones...

 

 

2ndly, Few month ago, a friend of mine sold his leo vince pipe to me. Fixed it myself and has been riding with it for a few month now. But recently, making banyak backfire, sometimes kinda irritating... what should i do?

 

 

3rdly, the sound of that pipe isn't up to my expectation. My bro told me that there's a few things that can be change to the pipe to make it louder or softer... Anyone can help on this topic?

 

4th, After changing my pipe, my bike could even run more den 140, sometimes to 150 on down slope but recently, i change to a standard roller and belting(Putus pat woodlands BKE). Now, my bike can only run not more den 130, as if its capped. What happen to it?

 

Lastly, My standard suspension call it quits a few month ago and Ive change to YSS suspension (Spring ones). Ride was great a few month, but recently it started to give a rusty sounds whenever there's a bump or going over a hump. Upon inspection, the spring itself looks like its tilted to one side. So the spring actually hit the 'absorber'(Betol ke tak ni tak tau lah eh, sampai gold die dah ilang, sampai karat!) What should i do now??!! Still love my bike!!!!!!

Stock original hose wear n tear after afew years...so normaly after sometimes u riding n feels bike getting mendak,bobok,topup fulltank minyak cepat surut its time to change. Price for whole set hose change is below 100.

Back fire is normal...its due to angin n minyak tak balance...backfire happens bila carbon dalam engine mix with oil,petrol then a combustion mix with air coz it to meletup...try to retuning balik carb insyaallah ok

To make it louder or softer it depend..but it make an interesting view for T.P's

This 1 need to double check weather previously what has been install i ur transmission parts b4 ur previous belt snap's...

for my suspension, ive just change it, perhaps in march... takkan dah rosak agi kan? biturbo tak mampu ar bro, mahal sngt....

 

 

Kalo hose, im gonna do it by end of dis month.....

 

mayb perhaps change my air filter skali... dah kemek! and tuning balek ar....

I'm 2 weeks old rider and maybe i can help answer a few qns to my motobike knkowledge..it may be wrong so correct me...

 

to quote what rstadan has said about back firing.

yes its true..i'm having the same problem too..when to future to check up on it..they did cover something which i dunno whut it is to prevent the backfiring..and about the combustion yes it is..to whut the mech told me, have to change the fuel thingy coz about 70+-...i dunno if i shud go to another shopt o check out again..setting of the fuel and air has to be balanced..so tuning might be required..

 

get a one times good gantung..

i think for gilera..malay say main peranan..mean it play a part on maintaing the bike..It the gantung have problem, then might hit to another thing and ur engine mounting might just be the next victim..$$ lagi bro..if you got a good price for gantung the bitubo..lemme know, i also wanna change!..

i've been riding a runner 07 for quite some time now, and looking to do some stuff to my bike. hehe. but sorry la still quite noob. =) i'm still quite confused by the functions of some parts on the runner.

 

can i ask, what are the functions of the multivar, rollers and variator? i know all these is something to do with transmission, but can i seek some kind help as i plan to improve my transmission.

maybe due to wiring sotz ke, air masuk kat fuel tank kau ke...

ive experience this b4 but i just ignore it cos as long i top up my petrol full,i just wait for fuel indicator light to light up n its time to fill again.. dont worry.. as long u know how far can ur full tank go,do keep track using the odometer so u can judge roughly when its time to fill up.. Soon u realise ur fuel gauge is back to normal.. dont waste ur money to drain the water in ur tank when there isnt as u draining ur cash too.. Save ur cash in case of emergency..

Im thinking of changing my rear suspension to the DS(Adjustable suspension). Can anybody quote me the cheapest i can get? or perhaps anyone of u selling a 2nd hand pair?

Cant tahan ar with my YSS, its getting from bad to worst.

 

Is the DS suspension good? i just want a modest one that can last long and good quality, kalau biturbo tu takle ar, mahal sngt... or anyone selling biturbo 2nd hand?

 

Oh another stuff to add on. what is the best timing for gilera? recently tried to lower it down to almost 1 rpm, it sure feel nice to ride, but my batt seems to get weaken everyday. increase it to 1.5 now, but doesnt sound too good. any suggestion?

 

last stuff, nowadays my front suspension seems to be knocking more often. Sometimes when i use my front brake, deres this knocking sound to my front suspension. Visual check, nothing out of the ordinary, just bit of rust. no oil leaks, no nothing, still shiny... Hehehe! but whats the knocking sound means?

YSS actually good suspension,bt depend of which type u r using,with canister loaded spring, without canister loaded spring or without canister with no spring.The best is canister with loaded spring.

Bitubo is good but if u r using for track used is recommended n if want to last long wear n tear for me i just used stock.

standard rpm idling is @ 1.5, if still no good have to up abit @ 2, bt sometimes have to check with the auto choke the 1 ontop of the carb. if u using open filter, jettings also play a part. trail n error sometimes happens when main jet n oil jet size doesn't balance...

Possible issue, have ur fork been down before? if yes , there could be, cos mine has down fork b4 till nw been using. if the mech doesn't do it properly such as lack of fork oil measurement there will be a sound when there is a hump,hole or any bumpy course while u riding n the gap measurement on how low the fork going to be down..other thingy is ur cone bearing...wenever while u r riding n theres a stop,e-brake there will surely a sound knocking from the front n it means the bearing seal is abit loose either need to be tighten or change a new cone bearing... this info is based on knowleged during my work in a gilera shop...the best is send ur bike to the respectively shop which are recommended...

bro, it might not be your suspensions but check ur engine mounting..

maybe due to wear and tear, ur engine mounting rosak then starts to effect your suspensions...

Tadi dah gi sunrise, the technician check my suspension depan, he said nothing alarming, just dat my gantung alignment lari sikit... so he ask me to fix a fork arm and i did just dat... truthfully, sedap gile corner, no more knocking, no more jerks and stuff, and cornering very10 stable....

 

For suspension blakang, he said its normal for the spring to hit the canister inside as im a heavy driver, nothing alarming but he said dat due to my weight, its better to change to biturbo or the ds suspension as they're more to heavy riders. im really into dat DS suspension... anybody selling it 2nd hand??? PLS!!!! hahahaa

 

 

as for the speed, i forgot dat ive been using malossi roller and belting, so it can run higher... actually i forgot abt it and change to standard ones, tu pasal motor takle naek agi... so thinking of changing but the technician says as its new, no need to change....

 

tadi tukar air filter open pod to new one as the old one dah penyek... dats the 1 point my motor rase bobok and bynk backfire, angin tak masok or someting.. change again to another one, not sure of the name but its 55 dolars... now its running fine....

 

spend quite a sum tadi, but overall performance, truly thankful dat my bike is ok now.... for hose wise, die check tadi but he says no need to yet, perhaps another 3 or 4 month den tukar...

 

den a few more outer looks and yeah, happy with my bike rite now!!
