Hi all,

 

May I check with fellow ST200 owners, how many "bars" does the digital temperature gauge show during normal usage.

 

Mine shows just below the 50% mark (middle marking between C & H), after a long run.

 

Another question: At what temperature marking will the cooling fan be switched on automatically?

nfor me my normal tempt is at 50% mark also.. i realise tt my cooling fan will be auto switched on at 50% mark also...im nt saying tt normal riding it will be switch on... i oni encounter the fan being switch on only when im stuck in a jam in jb for more than 15-30 mins stationary...nvr really clocked the timing la..agak2 oni..

it will switch on for abt 5 mins or less den switch off..

I thought of changing my current belt away cos it caused too much vibrations.

Please help me with the following qns.

 

1. Will you guys recommend original Gilera belting or Malossi ones (if i'm not wrong)?

2. Is there a mileage diff between both?

3. Where can i find a trusted/reasonable priced workshop to get it replaced and roughly how much each will cost?

i need to know what stems are on the naked setup i saw one on woodlands with come red thingy but the bar dam "ku-ning" anyone know what stem is it? i'm looking for one that accomodates a fatbar...!

hi fellow riders,

 

i parked my bike on main stand n canvas my bike( for the 1st time ). i woke the next day n saw my bike lying on the road!!! my balancer n " belly pan" gt scratches. i saw a few canvas belonging to cars also blown away.

 

Possibilyt 1 : someone kick my bike??

highly unlikely as i have no enemies or made any as far as i could remember.been staying in this neighbourhood for 7 yrs.. most of the riders here are uncles.. old man town la so dun tink they would do that

 

possibility 2 : strong wind (very likely )

my mum told me tt there was stong wind on the night before. but gt a few wave n rxk on canvas also nvr topple le... cannot be st200 too light mah..

or isit the main stand wif canvas nt as solid as side stand wif canvas??

i was shocked to find this happening to me as it was a 1st time experience in 5 yrs of ridding

 

 

do share wif me ur oppinion

 

btw, any1 gt lobang to touch up the "belly pan" ? maybe patty n spray back oni. thx mates

Canvas will left a bigger surface area for the full force of the wind to blow onto..If u park on side stand, it will probably topple onto the right when there's a strong wind..

its more of a 'dragging' sound. but my headlights are still on. so it shouldnt be the batteries?

Wanna ask, any idea which shop selling hurricane open pod air filter at a reasonable price. Mine already dented. Ask a certain shop they selling at $60+ where else i used to buy it at $45. Hope to get a response thanks:)

Thats rite, for the setting of carb, its ard $100+..but the issue here is that the air filter itself increases! From$45 to $65.. So i wanna noe weather is there any shop out there selling at a lower price.. Anyone?
