A MUST HAVE for your daily ride !!

-----------------------------------

- Grab On Grip covers reduce vibration and give you a softer feel, reducing hand and wrist fatigue, so you won't have that tingly feeling in your hands after a long ride.

- There are riders riding sportbikes with low handle bars, complain of sore palms from leaning on the grips for so long. With Grab On Grip covers, these problems will be a thing of the past !!!

- Grab On Grip covers allow you to ride in more comfort, especially on those long rides. PERFECT for the daily commuter, tour rider, and sport riders alike.

Features

---------

- Slip over existing grips for greater comfort, or to renew worn grips.

- Work with heated or standard grips.

- Save $$$, no need change the whole heater grip system which is very costly.

- Shock absorbing EPDM foam for a smoother ride.

- Provide comfort to wrist and palm. (Great for touring !!)

- Glove friendly.

- Extra durable, ozone, UV, gas and oil resistant

- Grip Covers MC402/width 1.25-1.45"/5"Length.

** Fits class 2, 2A, 2B bikes as long as its a standard grip, it can fit .

** There's customers that bought and fit it on their bicycles too !!!

Great for city riding where there's lots of traffic light, your hand will be tired during the on going "stop go" situation, this product will help to ease the stress on palm n wrist. Highly recommended for despatch/delivery riders.

"Once you try it, you'll LOVE it"

IMPORTANT NOTE : Lot of customers been asking what's the difference between Grab On Grip with another brand that's selling @ $30-$35.

Ans : QUALITY. Expensive doesn't mean its good. There're customers that have used Grab On Grip and changed to another brand, eventually came back to Grab On Grip because of QUALITY inferiority of other brand !

Hi all,

I am a old bird of SBF. I used to ride Honda silverwing till 2010 before I sold it for a car because of my pregnant wife. With the crazy COE price for cars, and two kids getting older, it is probably time to give up driving next year and support Uber or Grab ba.

Now I am considering two options, either to return to my Honda Silverwing 400cc or consider Suzuki 650cc burgman. May you advise me on:

a) The current price range for a new burgman 650cc ? Which bikeshop that you guys commonly patronized ? Guan Hoe ?

b) Any costly repair encountered so far apart from the normal oil and tyre change. For SW, the common problem I know is the magnetic coil, which fails around 2 years and is costly to repair.

c) What is mileage limit for CVT belt change for burgman ? For SW, although the spec is 40,000 km. I actually run until 50,000 km without issue. Although some SW rider can go until 60,000km

Cheers.

July 2004 to Nov 2006 X9 amalfi

Dec 2006 to Jan 2010 Honda SilverWing 400

Feb 2010 to Nov 2015 Honda Fit

Dec 2015 to Oct 2017 Toyota ISIS

Feb 2017 to May 2017 Honda ST1300

Jun 2017 onwards Honda Silverwing 400

a) last heard 28k++, Own respective favorite shop, AC Motor, other feel free to add in.

b)You will need to do some reading up here http://burgmanusa.com/forums/15-burgman-650/

http://images.gizmag.com/gallery_lrg/1909_17.jpg

From riding coming 3 yrs. . for normal maintainance

1) EO

2) Trans oil (using same EO)|

3) Gear oil

4) EO filter

3)Non of those i known have change so far for the 2013 model onwards. Because we are not running on belt, variator, Uclips etc....

From what I understand from Guan Hoe's new workshop manager. No one outside of Japan is authorized to repair the CVT transmission.

If there is anything wrong ...which is years down the road..... change the whole module 3K ++

Highly suspect you can consult AC motor for quotation of servicing the CVT unit... I only heard the 2003,2005 model has done before.

Basically there is only 2 variation. 2003-2012 & 2013 onwards. Rest inbetween the years only color diff

Wow. Thanks for the info.:p. I guess the gear based scooter should be quite rugged and maybe noisier.

Good.

Managed to cruise at 140-150km/h at 20km/L.

Folded mirrors improves stability at high speed. * Less drag.

Seat comfort is ok for up to 8 hrs ride. No need to adjust butt or stretch legs.

Under seat storage good enough for solo tour. No need box.

Suspension needs slight improvement for high speed. Doesn't handles multiple bums well. Guess they need to fine tune the compression and rebound damping.

No EO loss, aka transfers.

Very good acceleration and enough reserve power to handle many situations.

This is my first scooter. All the while riding bike. Worried about the handling.

Is there any way I can get a pdf owner's manual?

Hi All,

Anyone riding Suzuki burgman AN400 K1 ? Should be manufacture year 2001. Anyone know What is the fuel tank capacity for this model? my current consumption about 24-26km/Liter. but I topup every time when reached 230km ( 8-9 liter). Looking at other year burgman model it using 13 - 13.5 liter fuel tank capacity. If mine also 13 liter, then I can wait till 300km only topup my fuel.

Any owner can share?

Hi everyone,

Just got my Burger. Any bro can help me out with some information?

1) Can any bro recommend me a good shop with good mechanic use the machine to change tire slowly without scratching my rim?

2) Any bro know which shop or mechanic know how to remove and disassemble Burgman for spray painting, without damaging any part while disassembling and assembling? Meaning they are pro in taking out Burgman fairing and very nice spray paint.

3) Which shop very pro in removing CVT and changing the belt for full service.

4) Do you know any car cigarette socket to USB adapter will work for this bike is it?

Thanks!

There are quite a handful of discussion just prior to your post.

Should spend some time reading will get your answers.

There are very little posting here if you have noticed as compared to other threads.

No problem, all happily riding.... nothing much to discuss.

Thanks bro anodise. Which shop do you normally go for changing belt? So far are they efficient in opening CVT cover and correctly put the rollers direction. Some mechanics may put wrong direction, not to mention wrong tire direction even. That's why I asked.

Any good spray paint shop to recommend? Especially the mechanics very experienced in fixing Burgman.

There is paint shop I know but mechanic never fix Burgman before as it is not problematic bike.
