If you looking @sports can consider

CL2 = Aprillia SRV850, BMW 600, T-max (Of-course most popular)

U mentioned about those CL2 bikes. Kymco myroad700 is it ok?

I mentioned Sports ...... thats why Myroad was out of the category.

I had friend who rode Myroad. Feedback are reasonably good so far.

Since they are running Kevlar Belt, longer service interval but price is double as compared to norm scoot.

I found some reading material for u. Might not be most updated though. (Pricing oversea is jus SO DARN CHEAP)

http://www.justgottascoot.com/myroad.htm

Alternatively pop by Motorsports to ask for more information.

I was charged about $290/-.

Im sooo displeased and surprised for the price for just brake pads.

Anyone can advice me if this is normal?

Any recommendations other than guan hoe for my bike maintenance?

Thanks man...

Hi all. Anybody knows where to buy and fix side panniers to the Burgman 400?

Have you considered fixing waterproof duffle bag (see below pics) instead of panniers? I am riding a maxi-scoot as well and did toy with the idea of having panniers should i go north. But i think i would go ahead with a rear bag.

But that's because i am riding 1-up only.

Thanks for the response, TrolleyCart.

That's an interesting idea, actually. I'm actually upgrading to a 2A bike solely for touring up north. And when I do, it will be 2-up. So I'm afraid my luggage-maximising measures cannot employ the pillion seat.

So it's likely to be a maxi-scoot (Suzuki Burgman 400 or Honda Silver Wing) decked out with the largest top box I can get and side panniers - the roomier, the better.

Ahhhh.. Fair enuff. My proposition isnt viable since you are going north 2-up. Good luck in your search for the panniers!

hi,

my k3 400 throttle cable is sluggish. thinking of changing together with all my brake lines. But the bike is 10 years old so i am wondering if it worth to replace or go gungho and just do a stainless brake lines for all brake/clutch cable. I intend to put in 4 more years of hard use before scrap. coe is till 2024 but i not sure if i want to follow it through coe end or bike can tahan. current mileage around 70k

If going 2 up for touring north, why dont u consider a cl 2 maxi? Same convenience, FC but the extra cc would be most usefull.

Comparing an400 and swt400, an400 leads specs wise, biggest storage, double disc, adjustable backrest, ciggy plug, monoshock. Swt wins in term of built quality, engine smoothness, high speed stability 13x-155kmh.

Maintenance same, but I find the an400 clutch spring not as stiff and easier to diy.

My opinion is limited to the an400k6 and swt400 only. Heard the oil loss prob on the k6 has been resolved for the k7, couldnt verify on that.

Cable slag can be tighten, but its worth replacing if never done before. Same goes for brake hoses, if ur brakes kick in suddenly, or feel is not as linear, change. $ can be earn hor.

Not sure what u meant by clutch cable!
