Bought my suspension from Ah Boy JB. 100ringgit only. Used it for more than a year now. Still alright. BUT....i was goin for the 'low look'. So it is lower than any i guess. Suspension wise...no complaints. Better than stupid stock, cheap like f@rk. DIY install.

Any of you done the basic mods like changin to a better filter or lighter rollers for better acceleration? Feedbacks?

Firestorm : I've never tried Fully synthetic engine oil, so I don't know if it produces more power.

Cybernation : From what I know, changing the exhaust is the best way to get more power from the bike. Lighter rollers help too, but I don't like the way rpms stay so high even at low speeds, so I'm using stock ones, which gives very good fuel economy anyway.

Thanks nEO. Will take a look for after market cans then. Apparently the pick up not there, the bike vibrates hard too. Especially when there is a pillion.

I think its time to change your rollers before something worse wears out.

I found out the hard way, had to change the whole front pulley and variator assembly.

2 questions.. How do you cancel the "Oil change" light? And long many KMs do you guys usually clock b4 you change ur EO on ur Maj? for my dad in law who is an easy rider fully syn can last 4k?

hi bro,

make sure you change your EO every 3000+ miles or 5000km at least..

1.6L will be gd although the manual says 1.5 L

for EO change together with oil filter, 1.7 at least.

i topped up 1.5 after changing oil filter the other time and the EO light came on after 3 days..

How long after do you recommend the change? I just bought the bike 2 months ago. Don't think need to change now. But it'll be good to take some reference from your case study.

Does the engine vibrate when moving off gently? It shouldn't, and rpms should rise freely when you throttle hard. If it doesn't, the front pulley is not working properly.

Mine seems to wear out every 15000kms, thats half a year's mileage for me. I do pillion most of the time, and mostly ride in start/stop traffic, seldom expressways, so your mileage may vary with usage.

Yup, not sure if this is due to my weight. I'm about 85kg and my wife is about 53kg. When 1 up riding it is quite alright. But when 2 up riding at times must accelerate real hard. This is when I cant really accept the bike's vibration.

likely your clutch is slipping. try changing a harder Torque Spring.

I mod alot in sport bikes in the pass, roughly know the pricing. But scoot is a new experience. How much did you spend on your exhaust? Full system or just the end can? Where you bought yours from?

I believe its full system.

If you want instant acceleration, try Dr Pulley rollers. The only downside is your engine will spend alot of time at higher rpms, but the acceleration is fantastic.

I went back to stock rollers because I cannot take the fuel consumption. :D

It's a full sys. Moriwaki fire spec. spent 1k odd inclusive of inspection..... but motoviation mentioned that mine is the only piece in singapore as they felt that not much profit earned from it as have to go through 3rd party to get from Japan. u can try blue flame..... cos i remember they have it for Yp250
