Hi guys! Just had my SHAD mounting kit delivered on Thursday night from Spain! I'm gonna try to install it later on my scoot with the help of my friend mechanic.

Apparently there's a template, and I'll need to drill 4 holes onto the existing rack on the Majesty, before I'm able to mount the mounting kit. Haha. Gonna be quite troublesome, but I'm sure my friend can do it for me!

Can't wait to install the SHAD 48i from Chong Aik later!

Yeap. It's perfectly normal to have the 'ring-ring' sound at idle. It's caused by the clutch bell.

Just installed the SHAD 48i top box this morning!!! Shiok!!! Mounting Kit S$90, shipping from an online shop based in Spain is S$70. Box itself S$170...

Thank you for your update on the ringing sound. I feel more at ease now. However my next headache is the lousy FC. Anything I can do to get good FC like you guys? After my second top up, im getting only 14.41km/l which is real bad! :(

Don't do it to others what you don't want others to do to you! God bless!

Ok, wait. The odometer shows the mileage in miles and not kilometers. So whatever you see on the instrument panel (fuel gauge), x1.6.

Then from there divide with the amount of fuel you pump in liters.

I'm currently getting 24km/l (frequent start-stop traffic), up to 26.9km/L (more smooth traffic, expressways, etc).

Just had to change out my tires as it got punctured by a nail at the rear. Used it for 7600km.

Rode up to Kuantan just this past thursday. 3/4 through the journey to reach Kuantan, my Majesty 400 acted up with power cut. Max throttle and the scoot just refuses to rev past 4500rpm, thus restricting my overtaking power and top speed to 100-110kph.

I _sited a local bike shop, and mechanic told me it was throttle body/ Fuel injection problem. This mechanic is super nice la! And he expressed interest in taking over my scoot when i deregister it! Will post address of worlshop later.

Hope i can make it back to Singapore safely with power cut issues.....

Yes, I highly suspect my scooter got throttle body issues. Or could be the fuelling from ECU. Will check it out on Monday. Right now, I'm engine limited to 90kph.

Just got back home. Had a relaxing time at Mersing with a foot massage.

Had to leave my scooter at my friend's workshop as he spends this week trying to troubleshoot why my scoot has power cut issues.

We took out the transmission and it seems alright, so there isn't anything wrong with the clutch apparently.
