Hmm. I have a feeling, Yamaha will launch a touring big cc scooter to rival SilverWing 600, Burgman 650, BMW scooters.... Its a growing market demand and definitely worth to invest their R&D and product development.

 

But right now, they will just take their time to develop. They are currently focussing on the MT-09 triple cyl street bike.

Tmax still win the rest hands down. I dont think there will be any more scoots from yamaha other den face lifting the tmax and making the displacement bigger.

Exactly! Actually, to be fair, the engine block itself, nowadays, the tolerance is so good, engine wont malfunction.

 

However, its the components like fuel injectors, transmission etc that can still fail from time to time.

What is red side? I can only trust the Japanese when it comes to absolute reliability. They do know their engineering. However, dun expect new products to last long these days.

 

Manufacturers are smart now. They have an engineering team established just to look into engineering the product to last long enough, but still warrants a change so that they can keep on earning on customer's purchasing power! Its useless for something to last so long that it doesnt need replacement!!!

Had to put to the test my Majesty just now. Forgot to bring stuff to work. U turn and chiong back. The handling is superb even at 120-140kph! I especially love the ride comfort at such speeds for my Majesty. The slow speed ride is quite bumpy.

 

The narrow profile of Majesty also makes lane splitting super easy!!!

 

I love my Majesty!!!!

 

I think thanks to the super cooling weather just now, the performance of my scoot seemed noticeably better!
