Just found the next day when i try again to start, the electric start sound stop. and bike was as per-normal, check the voltage of the bike drop by from 14.5 to 11.0 volts. I believe the battery got drain by the short-circuit of the electric start coil. *since this november start to rain might the effect of water came in to my internal parts.sigh.. so no probs.. thanks for helping me out.. and i also can kick start the bike.. haiz..

anyway thanks for helping me out.. just worried.. *so take note due to heavy rain might be the effect of all the cause..

hey guys, my bike has only a top speed of 140km/hr. but the engine would be already stress out and i dont think its quite safe to prolong the throttle through out the whole journey. so im wondering if theres anything i could do to increase the top speed without doing those big bore and stuff. maybe some settings for carburettor and sprockets or something. i heard that even a really STOCK x1-r can go 140km/hr without the engine is stressing. so far, ive installed K&N air filter, LV Scoot exhaust system. and it didnt really change much except the bike is definitely much "lighter". so i hope you guys could share some tips. i just want the bike to go faster without stressing the engine. thanks! :D

Your Bike Is Only 135cc And You Think 140kmh Is Not Enough? I Think You Bought The Wrong Bike. :)

Why not changed to Yamaha 125Z or Suzuki Raider 150R. Stock 125Z can reach top speed about 165km/hr. Stock Raider can reach 160km/hr.

You don't need to spend a single cent to mod anything to reach that speed. Plus the pickup of both bikes are best in class... 125z is best of 2-stroke cub while Raider is best of 4-stroke cub.

Furthermore, these bikes' engine are designed to handle that type of power and speed without the stress of the X1-R.

That's not all, both bikes, especially the 125Z, are quite cheap! But Raider is harder to find & very unique if you own one. 125Z is very common in SG & M'sia.

So can consider. Anyway, if you still wanna go faster than 160km/hr, get class 2A/2 bikes. But you can forget about the low FC & ownership cost.

Give it all your best & a little bit more...

The Thing Is, There's A Reason Why The Bike & Engine Is Designed That Way. The Bike Is Designed To Handle A Certain Amount Of Speed And By Changing It You Might Just Make Matters Worst. Im Sure The Engineers Know What They Were Doing When They Designed The Bike In The First Place. Unless You're An Engineer Yourself.

I Know Ppl Who Mod Their Engines Here & There & Make It So Fast That The Bike Couldnt Take It. Then Buang And Injure Himself. I Dun Mind If The Rider Injure Himself. I Just Hope He's Not Riding Infront Of Me & Get Into My Way. Just My 2 Cents. Hehe. Well For Your Question, I Think You Should Ask Others Coz Most Of The Active X1R Riders Here Are On Stock Mode.

Its that time once again.

How fast do you actually want to go?

You change all the power mods. Did you mod basic and most important parts of the motorcycle? Brake power and tires. Go so fast, can stop in time? Going to use your legs to stop, is it?

As the duo and Lim Ah Wan mentioned, its only a 135cc. Not 1350cc. If you are power hungered type of person, go for performance purpose built bike. I also agree that you dont pull the speed stunt infront of me.

I dont want to die due to other people reckless.
