Outing!!!

Hello Guy and Ladies,

 

First time organize outing for x1-r... Below are some of the detail:-

 

Purpose: Dinner, Listen to pipes (Yoshi, LV, GPR and stock), Making frens, Understand our own bike etc...

Place: East Coast Carl junior.

Start Time: 7.30pm - 8pm. End time: 10 - 11pm.

Date: 30 Dec 2009 (Wednesday)

Things to bring: Urself, bike, knowledge, gf, wife, kids etc....

i juz bought TDR racing CDI from UM..

 

from gear 3-4 can drag all the way to 100. freaking happi.

bt still when gear 4 still cant pass by the 120 limiter.. wtf!!

 

i spent $140 on this and cant pass by 120km/h limiter.

 

any idea wad i should do nw.. shld have bought rextor sia.

 

anyone using TDR racing cdi form UM have any other feedback.?

 

will UM allow to change to any other cdi or take back my money?

 

i juz install in the evening less than 12 hours wif receipt.

 

my bike is stock except for GPR exhaust. i can hit 160km/hr as shown on meter without CDI, but very slow on straight roads. i tried clocking my speed with another x1-r (stock exhaust) and when my meter shows 150km/h, his is 120km/h.

 

not sure if it's calibration problem or it's because i'm pacing behind. we didn't try clocking the speed side by side. i went pass a honda civic b4 and i saw his meter at 90km/h while mine was at 110km/h. hmmm..

Hi guys, have just got myself an x1r. thought of changing to sports rims. Could the bros/sis here advise where can i get the best pricings and range of rims at? Any idea if there's gold coloured ones for x1r...like the ones for sparks. appreciate the help. thanks!

bro if u looking for after market i suggest u go jb.. got macam-macam.

 

cheaper.. bt i suggest buy original yamah enkei sport rims.. abit costly though.

I was quite happy at 1st coz i can drag on da 1st (to 40km/h), 2nd (80km/h) n 3rd gear (105km/h) but when i comes to da 4th gear it died at 120km/h. Like u guys said, da meter reading differs from X1-R to X1-R. But died at 120km/h? Im not sure whether there is sumthg else dat limits da bike speed to 120km/h. Dats when i get disappointed. Da prob is i only realized after a few days coz i didnt try its full potential at 1st. Anyway, wats done is done. If i hv money in da future, i wud sell diz thing off n buy rextor. Dat was wat i initially wanted to get.

2b bike can always mod like xiao. guess take big bike better.. mmph.

 

Did went to UM to inquire regarding the cdi, they refunded but not in cash but in credits.

reali apprecaite it on their part.

 

TDR cdi- gear 3 can rev to 105-110 bt gear 4 die at 120km/h.

did ask metalpura his also die at 120.

 

what i can feedback for tdr racing cdi, gv u more power and faster when changing gear bt still die at 120 and stock throttle cant open anymore.

bro.. how long ur fren been riding rvf?? 80-90 on rvf even for a distance from changi to tuas, it wont overheat leh...

unless ur fren's rvf e thermostat nt taken out yet.. if taken out, riding on dat kinda speed wont so easily heat up de...

dis is how i interpret wat u r saying :

 

x1-r = cls 2a / cls 2 bikes

80km/hr = 100km/hr

 

so if u r traveling @ 120km/hr those cls 2a/2 bike r traveling 140km/hr @ least??

 

isnt it veri funny??? wat kinda of x1-r r u riding??

 

y nt u come out to e outing tonite n we do a test.. see wat u r saying here is accurate...
