brakes only change brake pad...never do anything yet

juz ride slow n steady then our bike can last long! if everytime keep whacking confirm cannot last long de la! sometimes must ride at 20km/h.

my grandpa always tell mi this when i coming back from sg from malaysia. he will say "dun go too fast, go at 20km/h enff already!" l0l.

 

Does it mean that the flower disc brakes got no effect on our babies as well? Shxt i thought of going Malaysia to get them after i get my pay.

my mechanic oso told mi tat the disc brakes doesnt help much though, best is change brake hose and brake pad as well is brake caliper.

 

guy nw i very jialat i change my rim ytd at a well known motorshop u all also got went there de ......not good to say out the name ..... ytd went to change rim...starting the mech take out the rim den take out the shaft or wad need to use hammer and hit, he hit the oppsite side of the endcan which is from the left side to the right side den when he hit i think the shaft hit the endcan but i didn't notice until the mech call me and tell me that my pipe dented after i see den i ask why like that he say previously my bike the shaft too near the pipe den riding that time i make until the endcan .... den i say ok and went to look at the dent hw deep is it.... after that he keep take in and out the shaft by hitting it the same place ...and i saw the shaft keep hitting the endcan liao i though won't dent coz he tell me is when riding den the pipe too near the shaft then will dent de after i ride it back the rim got problem ,infront the rim like spoil like keep control me to the left and the back rim got those squeeky noise.....

went back to the shop tell the mech and mech ride my bike tell me no problem

i blur lo.... because i lend my fren ride he also say so.... den went back to wash my bike den i see the dented again .... is more jialat den previiously i saw de and i see the shaft ... but the shaft is very far from the endcan ... after that den i know is he knock that time hit my endcan de ... cb lo dam dulan...

 

previously ride sp also overhaul at there cost me few hundred bucks ride haven 2 week the bike got problem liao oil shield spoiled hais still don know wan to go down the shop next time anot....

 

tml go down fix my rim den think don wanna go back anymore......

 

cool down bro, some bike shop is liddat one. i recommend u come YP motor!! its at tampines ind park. juz say ken intro u here can lia0. the ultraman x1r. haha! mi and doraemon oso visit there de. maybe u can see mi too! tml i going down around 5+ 6pm liddat to change my kantong.

dude...honestly when u ride ur bike b4 changing the rim, did u feel a knock at ur right footrest whenever u kanna any hump all dis...

 

coz my exhaust behind also 'phua kang'...coz of this...if dun have den that tan ah kao make spoil de...

please make mention of the shop name to prevent similar kind of mishaps happening to others...

 

but since its the back of the exhaust, i noe it heart pain but mostly cant see one ba...so just leave it and dun tell people den people also donno,like what i am doing...

your mech got a point, caliper and pad does play a part too... *it takes two hands to clap

Once there is this very very very Unique ultra special bike shop i went there too with my friend. The guys there very unfriendly leh imo, stare stare all. Then i ask one of the guys if i do tyres and brake hose got discount not he say, "You come and do already then i tell you!"

 

My friend told me that he also once said, "Malaysia 做的 motor 我不做!" (Meaning- Bikes that are modded in Malaysia he dont want to do as in mod in other factors) Now, that's what i call poor customer service.

wah, so quite a few ppl got some problems with that shop, i have been visiting the shop 1.5 yrs ago when i 1st got my S4, til now no problems and am v satisfied with them.

the boss ask me where i got my sport rims, i said malaysia, he say "V cheap hor, aiya, sg one cant fight price with msia", den my rims got problem(i posted it here b4, the knocking sound one), went down the super special motordiam, the mech rectified it for me nv charged a single cent + aligned my handlebar. 2 days later, the boss pmed me if i need a sports rim to b replaced for the faulty one for msia. for discount, i nv ask lahz, but the one at eunos de, got ang kong de, abit sleepy look de will auto discount me. overall, i'm v satisfied with their service i can say.

guys sorry abt this but i tried searching and i got was the old post, what is the OTR price for a x1-r? or machine price? how bout insurance, i m paying abt $500+ 3rd party only for my wr400 22yr old wif 3+ yr exp, considering x1-r is still a new bike any chance of me finding a 2nd hand one? getting a transport bike as i'm enlisting soon. thanks

2nd hand got last yr my fren ask ard 3.4-3.8 cant remember le..dat was a shop in ubi..other places dunno insurance depends on hw u wana cover also depends on shop but i tell u nowadays insurace skyrocketing due to claims made last year so they revise the premiums.

 

anw,my fork,front rims,tyres,side fairing side mirror all koyak..die..haha you guys roughly knows the price for fork? those stock ones.i wana make sure my mech and his boss don't kapo me..haha but so far they havent kapo but just wana be sure.

 

the YPmotor at tamp i went b4 but that time so many ppl so i skipped and went to my usual wrkshop at yishun. no customer service how they wana make business sia..hahaha..
