I don't think it takes 2-3 months just to get a helmet over from japan.

Best is you go down and start asking why, what, when, who and how question to the shop.

And since you got the invoice, i guess you should be able to report them to the authorities if the helmet doesn't shows up.

If you have no confidence to go down alone, bring afew friends and rock the place down.

Agreed. But practicality wise. Pressing costs a fraction of a new set of forks. Its an alternative to people on a tight budget like me. You must be quite wealthy to be able to get a new set everytime it bends.

It could be a very sought after item over there as well. Hence the long waiting time. My advice is to go down to the said shop and talk things over nicely. Find out why it is taking a very long time.

Right now my racing footrest is all torned up.

 

Can someone recommend me a shop that quotes a reasonable price for a racing footrest? I would prefer a footrest in which the pillion's footrest don't bend down too easily (yoshimura footrests face this problem).

 

Any help would be appreciated

im currently using racingboy racing footrest, quite happy with it since yamaha's & yoshimura's doesnt look appealing to me. only downside is, my gear inverted cause the gear lever is abit short, meaning my x1r is currently the same as spark. down all the way to up gear.

i'm alright bro. i'm lucky to only suffer abrasions on my left leg and shoulder. not as bad as the event itself. the insurance claim is in the process.

which is why i tell all my pillion riders, naik macam boyboy, not girlgirl. cause if they were to step onto one side of the footrest first, in the long run, doesnt matter which racing footrest brand, it will still bend.
