well the theory is, once u change racing footrest, theres not much braking power, and the other reason is ur reaction time from the footrest to the brake is not fast enough tats why its not encourage to use racing footrest.. hahaha..

 

i used to ride a SP with racing footrest and always place my feet underneath the gear lever/brake lever. when i took my 2a, the instructors will point out a lot of ppl with this habit. probably that's the reason for the not fast enough reaction time

this will be the 2nd meetup that i'll be organising. it's actually a meetup cum kopi session so as to get to know fellow riders and discuss any questions pertaining to the bike.

i used to ride a SP with racing footrest and always place my feet underneath the gear lever/brake lever. when i took my 2a, the instructors will point out a lot of ppl with this habit. probably that's the reason for the not fast enough reaction time

 

Hmm.. for me.. I usually will rest my foot on the brake level but of course not totally to engage the brake itself. I use the rear pretty often for slowing down at traffic lights and controlling speed at long bends. Dunno technique is correct or not.. my worst fear is brake lock up only.. but so far so good.

Finish work at Clementi at about 10pm and got work at 700am next morning la. Thanks.

Guys! Sorry to advertise here haha. I got a radial master cylinder from a zx6r with titax lever. It's not fake definately. I bought it to fix on my friend's bike (of course he paid for it) but can't fix coz his sm125 using handguards. Anyone interested? 93276125. I'm posting here first so you guys can benefit from the good deal.

 

Oh yah and i have "trusty" brand fork legs. Those gold coloured ones. Finally letting go cheap coz it's taking up my room space

 

If nobody wants it then it'll go to garage sales. Price wise u sms me den we talk.
