other than sound. what else does the modified exhaust give as a benefit?

 

I heard pickup, performance n stuff.

 

But does it take away stuff? Like fuel consumption, increased maintenance and stuff?

*what kinda exhaust do u guys have? ^^

After inspection go to the office where people renew roadtax and tell the person you have yet to receive your roadtax letter. They will mail you your roadtax and then can go renew roadtax and insurance together.

basically wanna know why u wld wanna change your exhaust if you did?

and what are the pros & cons of changing the exhaust.

For me, it changes the output air flow thus giving more power to the bike. If u notice, stock exhaust, the header is so small compare to aftermarket ones. Fuel intake I nvr notice..

 

For my pevious x1r, am using abm racing n did change the pilot jet only... Fuel intake same...

 

For my spec 3, using Leovince SBK endcan n change the pins only... Fuel intake.. POWER! 18litres I can hit 350km with vtec.

 

So, actually cub change exhaust okie la bro... Unless u change sp carb, rextor cdi n big bore with fz150i kit la... Hehehe

 

This is my experience only on exhaust, others may differ...

Nicely said. It also is so much lighter than the stock pipe.
