sometime will find it irritating when reach home at mid night or early in the morning n hope to have higher FC cause now work need to travel ,cant tahan every day pump one tank petrol haaha try to sell la if not then just keep lor now heart up n down sia

 

To be honest, ive used the roundcone for about 3 months, then i changed to tri oval for about a year, then i used stock pipe. My mileage is worse on stock pipe. Dun ask me why.

Where are you doing your mods? How much you paying for the Uma block & piston itself?

So i went to jb $800: uma pistion m block, high cam, 150 sp carb, racing gear,

Lower fork, cdi( 4get wad brand, new chain plus sproket

 

 

U have any recomened shop ??? Coz i am moving to jb in 2 month, 110kmh very slow

me went down comex today, on the way visit LAB as well

managed to get the hella disc horns a pair for $20 without relays

lucky never buy from the hella online seller in this forum who quoted me $34 with relay, still need to self collect in sengkang which is far from my place

but LAB dont have the T5 bulb for my speedometer, motor shop near my place also dont have

 

weekend gonna do my own plug n play installation of only 1 disc

any idea wat the difference between braking disc brake and racing boy, which is better ? i'm using stock disc brake but dun seem to brake well

For tri cone, no such thing as 1st or 2nd gen. For roundcone, no diff at all between the 1st & 2nd gen. Unless you're talking about tri oval. The 1st & 2nd gen got difference in terms of the silencer.

 

so which is which? the tricone is the new one w the carbon fibre end?

Do not get the Braking disc. Pay so much for such a small disc which isnt even a floating disc. Racingboy much better. Cheap, nicer & they are floating discs. But take note these days more ppl are failing inspections due to aftermarket oversized discs.

The bleeding and the brake pads also plays an important part not just the disc. From my noob experience the oversized disc does improve braking.

Speaking of which. Found some pics of the first Spankers outing organized for the sole purpose of knowing and making more riding friends after its been revamped. Might not have the biggest turnout but its pretty decent for noob organising skills.

you guys got lobang for parts and accessories for sparks? where do you recommend usually? I seldom went up north, especially now with random and frequent "incidents" up there. I usually went to a shop in sg, they have 2 outlets. i think you guys should noe. but most times i went there, sure fix something, then got another thing need fix.

xian, my morning mission fail, the hella disc horn cannot fit into the compartment of the original horn

look around for a long time but just cant find an alternative position

- front fork area cannot as once suspension is press down will hit mudguard

- radiator area cannot as x1r fairing is cut in type and will hit mudguard when turning handle bar

 

think must go shop liao, anyone got recommended mechanic in the west area whom had installed hella horn on x1r before?
