cos i dont wanna mod my new baby atm...

btw i jsut order fiat feirring from wingyap, started to regret wad i choose, hopefully it turns out smth nice :/

lols. not lame bro . maybe too common questions ,& so i give u a common answer, u just need to flip a few page back ..hehe. Its advisable to chg cdi if u chg after market pipe , cos have more performance etc..ok.

Change pipe, Change filter

actually basic stuff in order to unleash the "beast" in yr ride or any ride

Upgrade brake system, F&R Suspension system

2nd step to stop the beast from going too wild. Power is nothing without control.

change cdi aka ecu aka iginition module, change spark plug coil, change carb/s (dynojet or PC3 or 5 for other makes & models)

nxt step to tame the unleashed beast

3 basic steps in whatever bike i ride.....

of course some makes & models may not be able to change cdi etc... so can save the $$ loh....

Above mentioned are all LTA compliance....lol:faint:

Its personal preference. Its like if you like fat girls go with Yoshi and if you like slim girls go for Leo Vince.

If you can get either for cheap go for it.

I guess you still do not understand what im trying to say. Let me put it in a simpler manner, there is no such thing as "maybe" when it comes to outings with no TBC list. Furthermore since they are not active here, why bother coming, they could just come for this outing and disappear after that. After 4 main outings, a few of us have seen people like that. It pisses me off.

I am sorry to say this but you are just plain ignorant. Let me shine some light on you. KR is a sportsbike. Insurance for sportsbike cost more. And everyone knows Kawasaki's insurance is the most expensive among the Jap bikes. The reason they ask for the plate is to know if the bike is 10 or more years. I doubt there are any spark which is more than 10 years old. Bright enough? Or you need me to use HID?

Zzzzzzz. Firstly, I am well aware how expensive insurance are for a sportsbike and if its from kawa. Its been lik dat since Ive been riding my M in '05. "Thanks" for sharing anyway, ur very kind. Secondly, I want to explain why I came up with that FZ plate KR's insurance example seeing ppl are having a misconception here.

When I mentioned abt my insurance for dat FZ kr, it was juz to tell u dat ur comment about riding a s4 to fairly gauge the insurance for this bike is wrong. Am I wrong to imply that ur trying to say dat a lower cc cub should be cheaper den a 400cc roadbike? I hav a wave which I am keeping as a spare bike to play ard wif, it is onli a year younger den my s4. Yet insurance for it was $350 vs my s4 at $380. This is not a kawasaki, not a sportsbike yet only cheaper by $30.

Ok guyz, that is why I juz want to noe how much u paid for ur insurance individually. Spare me from lecturing dat a insurance depends on age, riding exp, bike age, NCD claim or whatever la.. I juz wanted to compile the amounts paid for insurance for then come up with an average price, juz need to plus minus onli. Insurance is the make or break factor weather I can purchase this bike full cash or not.. so plz ar, can work w/ me?

actually i get spark for transport, that why i sold my sp and bought a 1st hand spark, so i wont be making inside unless im tired of it...

probably pipe and exterior design i aim (:

btw if change cdi, the biek will jerk abit when certain rpm right ? im nt wrong, and after a certain rpm the bike will go even faster right ?

Ok , in that case y dont we start at the westside ? since duo suggested next outing is gonna b in the east . i mean we have tried central & north side , so next is west & upcoming is east . just my 2cents . we have tried slow food , how abt fast food ? like Mcdonalds , at jln boon lay Beside TradeHub21 building (New Mc outlet) , parking just besides the mcdonalds.BUT not sure if its 24hrs

Since you have a wave to play with and its insurance is 300+. Standby that much amount. Funny why you would choose a bike which most use for transport as a bike to play with. Well to each its own.

Not to make your rear point higher but to give good rebound and damping for better handling of the bike. I am guessing your bike is totally stock as its gonna be a new bike? First thing is change to better grippier tyres. You do not want to learn it the hard way.

before changing the exhaust or cdi do ride the bike in its bone stock condition first. This way you will notice every bit of change made to the bike. I must warn you though that you will feel how underpowered it is from your 2 stroker.

Well give me your age (after Bday), riding experience (since 2B), make & model of yr ride, Age of ride or which year reg, any NCB (10-20%), TPFT or third party only.

Think tat should do....

Well y complie where u can ask quite a few advertiser on sbf also or best NTUC, they sure give u a quote fastest in an hr to 2 days....(but they kinda ex sometimes but surprisely my Sporty 1200C TPFT cost me only $450++ aft NCB)

Front & Rear Suspension aka F&R Suspension

refer to your front fork & rear shock

Front fork my experience is to change to heavier oil like sae10 to 15

not sure if cubs can tahan 15 a not...

Rear shock pls change after market...

the current stock suck esp if u are kinda big size like me....

I using Gazi right nw (preload only)

best will be either the YSS fully adjustable (ard $380 to $400+++)

if on a budget get Gazi so far so gd (but i only use it less than a week so diff to judge...lol)

any after market rear shock will make yr ride rear higher, tat is firm thus u need to weld some old bearings to yr side & main stand if u still wana park yr ride...lol

CDI....

hmm so far nv jerk b4...

harsh throttling but smooth pickup to top speed for me....

form what i know CDI make the "breath" of the bike longer meaning longer for u to drag in each gear...

Gear 1 & 2 breath is rather short but with the cdi there is a slight improvement

Gear 3 is much longer plus b4 install cdi my gear 3 has a weak spot aft install bike is roaring to go ...lol

WY is offering TT901 for 90 a set. Would have gotten it if I have known about it sooner. Been hearing good feedbacks about this tyre.

I bought that tyre during their promo... and its good ...

Another bike for track?

Remember it by hard. How much did you change the sprockets and chain? Do share with us. I remembered the first time I bought the a gold chain. So shiny but my chain wax makes it become white.

guys, i change sprockets front 15 rear 42, with gpr hd chain-$42.. at a.s.phoon toh guan.. got discount 3 dols.. hehehe.. i tink 1st timer like me,

ok2 laa..

but, 7 hrs werk at mac, half tank gone oredi.. maybe open throttle too much?? btw, akulahajak, nice meeting u.. im still monitoring my distance.. thanx for the advice..
