sian, i wonder why when im riding i hear sound at gear 4 70km/h

always had the like "alarm sound"

hopefully is the wind, but inside KPE tunnel i also hear the sound

so when i parked my bike with mainstand i tried to spin my back tyre.

i hear a strink sound as if its rusty...

but cannot be wad ? my bike just bought less then a month ago..

issit the drum brake too tight or wad ? when i make my racing footrest

then got that sound liao.. i scare is the mech tie too tight for me...

Guys, the gear ratio calculation works especially to those who belive in "bigger rear sprocket = more pick up less distance" & vice versa. Am on 14 front 36 rear, lose out a bit of pick up on the first 3 gears, but after 80kmh it pulls well. So akulahajak, time to change your front sprocket since your rear is already 36. :thumb:

Sure hope you get to 80km/h fast. In SG too many traffic lights. Rather have better pick up and mid so can at least skip a few traffic lights before it turns red and also get the hell away from drivers pronto. Unless always travel on expressways. But then again SG expressways also got so many jam. :faint:

I still prefer stock sizes though. A modded engine will work much better with those other sprocket ratios. For those who still want to test different sizes it is safer to up one or down one teeth at a time till you get the desired outcome.

Well, im not the kind of guy who chases the traffic lights before it turns red and until you try 14f 36r, only then you can feel it being better than stock. In the end, to each his own. :shades:

Morning woke up , raining very heavily . so decided to take bus to work since its nearby . 6pm wifey fetch me from werk . reached carpark saw my spank slanted . I knew something was wrong , so decided to take a glance underneath the canvas . I should have known ! my bike fell left side AGAIN ! 3 times now ! Not sure if its da wind or someone knock it, last time i saw before boarding a bus , there's the usual white S4 parked beside it , so sad now . . But nothing major , just a broken left side mirror . alignment still as usual But my rear tyre hard to spin . maybe rim or swing arm problem . :sian: Well tomorrow morning gonna go to usual bike shop to trouble shoot. haizzz!! headache~!:slapforehead:

Neither am I. But it is frustrating having to stop at each and every traffic light. Will keep that in mind for next sprocket change.

No matter how heavy the rain is, i've never seen any bike in my carpark be it side stand or main stand fall to the ground. I suspect foul play. As for your repairs, hope your rear problem ain't major, we need our camera man for the outing.

Hie Sparkerzz.. Ride Safe ya.. Hope tmr dun down pour..

Yeah, if not, plans have to postpone/cancel. :faint:

Sprocket inside got bearing? What bike you riding? :faint:

You change to racing footrest right? Yamaha dealer will void whatever warranty you have. Because your bike is no longer stock. Let a reputable mech/shop diagnose your bike. I would reccomend Planet.
