Guys, for the upcoming outing, after breaking fast, any ideas on where to go? "Sungai" aka near the bridge that leads to the indoor stadium? Labrador park? Kallang carpark? We are really running out of places. :faint:

hi guys, i intend to get a new spark, maybe nxt mth or in nov. i'm going to get 1 and so dat my wife can ride it too but she wants clutchless type... would like to find out some stuffs before deciding. o_O

1. In terms of lasting, clutch or clutchless is better? i rmb my wave last me more than 2 yrs since newly bought. is it similar?

2. heard dat there is no space for storage under the seat, so i'll be getting a box. the inside basket is the full size type, which measures from left to right side panel, or is there a small/half size type?

3. how much does it cost(roughly) if i wana fix a electric start(whole set) in the future? reason y i ask is bcos i'm given a choice between:

a) electric start with spoke rims & tube tyres

b) sports rims & tubeless tyres w/o electric start

guess i'll go with the sports rims due to the price diff & my wife can do w/o it. :cheeky:

er... hope some1 can understand wat i'm trying to ask, especially no.2 as my english is quite "powderful" and dun know how to express in words... :faint:

Err Get The Clutchless One As It Already Comes With Electric Start.

The Spoke Rims & Tube Tyres Can Be Changed Easily At An Affordable Price.

Its Better Than Buying The Clutch One Which Doesnt Come With An Electric Start As It Will Cost You A Bomb & Needs Lotsa Modifications To Fix Electric Start On It & Summore Most Shops Dun Wanna Do It Even If You Have The Moolahs In Hand. :)

You are indeed weird. :faint:

Since you have ridden a wave before, clutchless would be more appealing to you. If you wanna try something different, go for the clutch, but by trying it means that you'll end up regretting not getting the clutchless if you cannot adapt to the clutch. :shades:

Do abit more research. I once read up on the an article about the disadvantages and advantages of clutch type bikes and clutchless. Cannot compare a wave to a spank as the wave does not have an oil filter but the latter has one.

The e33 is big enough to fit two helmets. One slighlty smaller helmet though.

i estimate a racing boy rims from msia + BT39SS in sg shud cost arnd $300? sry, not sure abt the price now... i get wat u mean for the electric start thing. i know most workshops r reluctant to do wiring stuffs (if they r the same as b4 :nono:)

btw, is BT39SS still in the market now? :o

ty for the advise ^_^

actually i'm ok with clutch or clutchless. ( i wud wana change my ex-900 to clutchless too if i can :p) its my wife who mind abt having it...

anyway, in terms of mechanical advantages, which 1 is more lasting? i blief clutch type is cheaper to maintain, is it?

sry for all sorts of questions. i'm a long lost ex-biker... :cheeky:

Yeap Yeap In Spore I Was Quoted $300 to $400. In Msia They Quoted Me RM500++. But When I Asked Them How Long Wud The Process Take, All Of Them Said They Are Not Willing To Do It & Have Not Done It Before. :faint:

Those tyres are still in production. And yeah. To do wiring at SG bike shops is still as expensive. sometimes the job does not fit with the price. :faint:

tink i'm offer with a kappa box but equivalent size to E33. er... sry ar, tink i need to rephrase my question abit... actually i'm asking about the front basket, but its the 1 facing towards us dat type de. hehe

not of a worry for dat. i did dat wif my wave last time. bought the rims in plantong(4get how to spell it) near pasir gudang and bring bck & ask the mechanic to fix for me. i bought the tyres from them. lucky thing is he is still working there. hehe
