eddictive, i know you loved the fight between Rossi & Whorenzo yesterday. It was epic.

Anyway, since the recent outing was a failure, anybody (besides the usual peeps) care to organize for the next one?

hi guys..u all got face this problem before?

carburator gena rainwater seep in after heavy downpour. (those raining cats & dogs type.heavy pouring for few hours.)

and then cannot move..maybe can still start but once u rev throttle, engine will stall..

i got this twice already and had to tow back to shope where they washed the carburator.

i mean....is this a common problem for spark? Since the middle ventilation holes are right where the carburator is..

but can't be right??! then every rainy day, sparks on the road won't be moving?

Next week is my enlistment date. I guess they need me more than they need you.

is using sticker wrap or leather cover for your IU legal?

Wrapping your IU unit has no legal/illegal issues.

Yeah Wrapping It With Stickers Is Not Illegal But Make Sure The Barcode At The Side & Security Labels At The Bottom Is Not Affected As In When You Peel Off The Sticker In The Future, It Will Not Affect The Labels Because If Lets Say They Are Tampered Or Torn, Your Warranty Is Gone.

My Previous IU Unit I Pasted A Tinted Sticker Over & When I Peeled It Off, The Barcode At The Side Came Off Too And When My IU Was Spoilt, They Say Warranty Is Gone Because Barcode Is Missing Which Means It Has Been Tampered. LIKE WTF???!

I Used To Experience It On My Previous Bike Which Is An X1. The Prob Was That Some Of The Screws At The Carb Keep On Getting Loose Due To Vibration So Water Could Seep In. After Cleaning The Carb & Tightening All The Screws, The Prob Was Gone.

I believe ur biting point is either too near or too far. Or try doing this. If from N cannot go 1st gear, instead of clutching fully, clutch in only 3/4 and kick down to 1st gear. Shud work.

Thanks bro... i will try it later.. i biting point is far and can't be adjusted since i just change the clutch plate, this is what my mechanic told me.

so u know any problem difficult engaging my 4th gear.. is it the same problem.. or just my clutch plate still new?

in my exp from my old bike, adjust your clutch lever to further so dat when u fully engage the clutch, the clutch plates are farther apart. it shud work.

but i tink dat dis problem shud not exist if the clutch plates are newly changed. maybe its not a perfect job done...

apologise for my ignorance technical explanation. i dun know how to explain in words... :cheeky:

did u go back to the bikeshop u previously sent for servicing? it shud be free cos if its really a need to open up again, everything need to change again like gear oil, gasket, etc. so if u go other shops, u might have to pay again.

i suggest u go back to the previous shop and ask again b4 going to other shops. juz my 2 cents. ^_^

As duo said, it can't.Ii believe you could ask your mech on what are the basic things a bike should have to pass an inspection.
