Those "hi-cam" they talking is the performance cam shown in the sites. There are different sets of cams that are used for performance. I don't like to use these terms "pick-up" and "distance" or "tarik panjang" (direct translation "pull long"). There are cams with longer durations and higher lifts that are designed to suit your setup. Different duration means how long the valves are kept open per cycle, usually measured in degrees. Different lift means how much the valve opens (how high the lobes on the cam are).

As you know by now if you are into this kind of thing, 4 strokes take 720 degrees to complete one cycle. 4 stroke simply means, intake, compression, ignition, exhaust. Basic stuff can go google ah people. So when i mean different setup different cam, it simply means u cannot use a high lift, high duration cam for a stock bore and stroke. You'll just have no power because there's not enough volume and vacuum to work power out. This is why some sites categorise their cams into "Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3" cams. It's just different profiles of the camshaft suited for different applications.

The internet is your playground. It just depends on how you play it.
