Hi guys,

 

My relative's spark piston jam today. Went to bike shop and was quoted $650 for overhaul. They will change these parts:

 

Piston, piston ring, piston pin, conrod, timing chain, timing chain guide, tensioner, crankshaft bearing all to original.

 

Is the price reasonable? Any shop to avoid or recommend on doing overhaul?

$650? No block? Is the conrod even damaged? For $350, you can get it replaced with original Yamaha parts and an additional 15cc too in SG.
