sparkan: If you want to change your front forks, i recommend you change to 125z forks. Better stability than our stock shocks.

 

Agreed with what thrasher said, dont bother spending on inverted forks.

yeah 125z forks i'd recommend that. problem is, you gotta have big pockets to get them... cos you gotta get the whole set.. triple clamp, fork legs, fork tubes, caliper and disc. unless they're somehow nice enuff to sell it separately la.

Yea, thought of changing to 125z forks but the price is a major put off factor. Maybe one day after all my exams finish i want to go to those scrapyard to look for those items. Hopefully they are useable and only need minor restoration. =)

anyone knows how much is the headlight assembly for Yamaha Spark 135? My headlight sometimes will turn on off by itself. Think got to change the assembly as I've changed the bulb recently only..

calipers i can recommend scrapyard. forks no. calipers are tough and chunky so they can take quite a beating when all piled up at a scrapyard. for fork, gotta keep in mind they throw everything together, prone to bending misalignment. u'll just get scrap quality.

Jalan Buroh scrapyard? that old uncle is a fukker.. did ask him for brake pump and callipers and he was like shouting away about those kind of stuff so expensive and people come to buy for a very cheap price bla bla bla.. gave him the middle finger and rode off.. turns out most of my friends who has been there get the same treatment since a few years back..

depends on where you stay.. i know Yishun industrial sells them at Tune In.. Bt Batok at Hua Chin i think.. roughly 150sgd last time i saw.. if you frequent JB like me then it aint a hassle.. just go on saturday evenings..
