wiring is relatively easy. if u know what ur doing . label them before u unplug.. there are tons of connection inside and i dun know why. for the headlight u might have to slice the wires open and connect it directly. or u can find the crimp and crimp urself. i connect it directly. signal same thing..

bro , where u get the fork ears/ headlight bracket? am looking for that type!

I will try diy and see how lol.

Fork ear I dunno eh.. I fitted a S4 headlight on my phantom, and ah koon lengkok bahru just do for me. When I come back , he got the fork ear and everything lol

Next time I go over I help you ask if can get only the ear or not

Ask you all ar, you know the area whereby the exhaust header connects to the engine ?

There is 2 screws positioned diagonally and a metal plate supposedly to secure th exhuast.

But mine .. think ride to fierce .. due to vibration the 2 nuts on the screw broke (I think) and now the metal plate is dangling on my exhaust header .

My exhaust is not secured and shakable.

Is it still safe to ride the bike to replace the nut or will the pipe drop off ?

nut broke? bro , u sibei fierce. better replace it? if its just the but and not the bolt. should be quite cheap. since the nut can get anywhere. just normal nut. try the shop bolts and nuts infront of ahboy. behind the coffee shop.

anyone have any idea where can i go to have my bike diagnosed for any problems? after i serviced the top block , it seems the piston is way louder. so maybe someone can do a better job ? and also check for leaks, etc by doing compression checks or something?

After being such a noob with DIY and such, I finally do up my CG to a certain extend LOL!

Initially wanted to do cream + dark brown color .. end up when I buy the paint, the effect came out totally different =X

Old school cafe racer became ice cream racer =X The color really looked damn chocolaty o_O

Went to ah hee to do up my handlebar just now (using clubman) . Then change my spoilt signal switch. He's cool ~ He let me DIY and teach me along the way. More knowledge gained

Anyway, my brake light is still not working .. not sure if it's the light or wiring .. later got o check .

One of my signal light earth wire is too short .. can I patch it with another wire to make it longer? No specific say, type of wire right ?

And my gas tank keeps leaking oil through the cap when the tank is quite full. I go united ask and they told me to get another rubber to stack over the stock ones. I did it, but still , got oil leaking neh .

Can it be caused by the uneveness of the oil hole opening or I just need to stack more rubber?

Thanks~

Use 2 nuts M10 to tighten back.any bike shop should have.....loose header means lose of power.

think i dont pump so full bah =x

damn pek chek already .. my signal light keep giving me problem .. the wiring and such.

I locate my signal at the screw behind the bolt that secures the seat. on stock I think it holds the bracket for the stock lighting.

But due to the structure of the signal light, the wire obstructs the fitting of the signal to a certain extend .. end up unable to tighten very well. Only for the rear ones.

End up my left rear signal drop out again while travelling .. then some way or another, it fuse my signal bulb again .. fml .. (which I just got one from ah hee )

Now I need to get another fuse .. those homefix and such got sell or not? Or got to go motortiam ?

Anyway, you know the stock cg right, the earth wire got this metallic round washer, is there any place where i can get this wire? My that signal light earth wire was snapped .. so that washer part gone -_-

Finally know where the rattling sound of my bike came from .. my exhaust header =X

I would like to know what should be present at the header.

I secure the metal plate to the nut surrounding the exhaust header, but the header is still kinda shaky. can pull out one =X Am I missing any fitment or ? The header should be tightly fitted right ?

Gasket issue ?

im sure there's a rubber seal or something between the block and header

After struggling for some time (being a complete crap noob =X ) finally fixed the issue.

There are these 2 C-shaped metal plates that clamps the header and the gasket to push and tighten the header to the block.

That was what I was missing. Damn!

Now my Cg is back to being a CG =D No more harley sound ! (which was caused by engine leak at the header)
