Unless you use a box... I don't think that there is space to install speakers on a kr... if the speakers are too small you cannot hear it thanks to wind noise...

is the operating voltage of the speakers the same as ur battery? otherwise, u need relays, fuses, resistors and all that extra electrical stuff.

when you say the speakers don't work, do you mean your installation failed or the speakers are spoilt?

Wah u put speaker on KR. Power. Confirm can hear.

lol! so sarcastic!

but yes... unless you can make your exhaust near silent, and ride below 70km/h, you won't hear much sound coming from your speakers...

to each his own lah, who knows, he bring girl by the beach, den got speaker can play romantic songs to set the mood. speakers on bike doesnt necessarily have to play it while riding wat.

out of curiousity, u said speakers meant for bikes, wat speakers are those?

I fixed before DIY. U need a battery, speakers (depends on how many u want and how many ur amp can support), preamp, and amp. Of course not to mention correct wiring. Many packaged-goods nowadays, meaning to say nearly everything u buy nowadays, come with a manual. It's not really plug and play. There's a bit of trial and error if u're a first timer. If the whole thing blows up den u'll den stay as a first timer, unless u try again. My suggestion is to get someone to do it and watch first, or search online, or the best, go shop and do. Now recession people also need jobs to do, speakers to fix, etc. :thumb:

Oh those kind of speakers. They're never going to be loud enough to hear when u going on expressway. That time i was using kicker speakers with sony amps and a mgp preamp inside my box. That one very loud. Den i sold it off to my friend. Just fix a switch from the battery to the set, make sure the wire is fused, and try not to play when the bike is off coz it'll drain the batt. If it's on and stationary also need to make the idling higher so it'll charge.
