Just checking ah!

 

According to the manual DT300i is 20,000km change belt and inspect U shoe, you guys change at 20k?

 

Done my belt change at 28600km.

Only change the belt.

Instant power back to normal.

 

Will change my belt/roller/ushoe at next 25k km interval.

 

 

Heading north this coming Tuesday.

I've ridden from Skipper 125 to Silver Wing 600. In my opinion, the first signs of belt and roller wear is an increase in rpm, both in acceleration as well as cruise. ie if 4500rpm is required to maintain 80kmh(my DT300's case), it continues to be as such until a slightly higher rpm is required to maintain 80kmh.

 

Of course, one has to monitor a few speeds ie 80, 90, 100, 110, 120kmh etc for their corresponding rpms to pick up first signs of belt/roller wear.

Yup, increase in fuel consumption can be a sign of belt wear too if other factors are excluded

scare it will snap at 12k interval.

what is the MET-IN means ?

moving off at only 4000 rpm ?

 

How much is the full servicing including Belt replacement ?

what are the things need to take note?

MET-IN is the light telling you the seat is not closed.

What is your last belt and change?

For dt300i,user manual stated 20000km change.
