Hey guys,

I have a very sad news to break to all especially the ones going for the Thai trip...

I have to pull out from the trip due to last minute work commitments.

This is really unforseen and i am very saddened by the news myself...

Anyway, i really hope to be joining you guys for the next trip up, if that is confirm? (Cameron in August?)

Sorry organiser...i have made arrangement with palary to cancel my travel insurance already. I hope i din cause any inconveniences to anyone planning this trip.

Massive Diversion Group Meetup

Calling all handsome buggers...

There will be a meetup of all the diversions buggers on the 9 July, Saturday, 10pm behind Kallang Mac(near the National stadium), where Carmen Café is (our usual place).

We will be having this meetup for a couple of reasons.

1) To catch up with one another

2) For the thai trippers to tie up loose end of their trip

3) Kopi/Teh/Milo/Ovaltine/Chinese Tea…session

4) Discuss about future trips together

5) Discuss whether we want to have a Group T-shirt?

6) Discuss whther we can have a proper Group name?

I think that should be quite a lot to come together for a night…

Hi Guys,

Have you handsome buggers seen the Moto Guzzi-Breva V1100cc for '05 much improved from older generation models...

Its a cool looking bike, not sure if it is coming to our shore or not - Air cool V-twin engine, shaft driven, center stand, 6 gears, 24 litre fuel, seat height 800mm and brembo brakes F & R but the Horsepower is abit on the lower side only 85 for a 1100cc and not forgetting it's a fuel injection bike....

Just looking out for another make with some similarities... he,he,hee!!!

It is for those who hate water cool bikes...and prefered simplisity is the best.

Anyway, I will cancel your policy on the 14th , just in case...

It is just a phone call away, no prob...

And for the others, pls informed me should ealier (by 14th) should there be any pull-out. Else, it will be rather troublesome to make claim from NTUC...

Anyway, can i still pay u guys, knowing that the whole package is a group price...so if i withdraw out, can i still pay for my share so that the rest still pay $15.90 rather than $17.70(split among 9 pax)?

I have finally sold off my Divvy earlier today. It was a very poignant affair, but as they say, all good things must come to an end.

I hope to still pop in the meetups if time permits, and still be in the loop (hopefully).

Things in life dosen't meant to be cruel... I meant feel sorry for yourself for selling your bike!! which you have been enjoying/riding and been fully satisfied with...It is all in our control !!!

In your case it is just a matter of upgrading to another extra wheels' simple as that...it's for sure your intensions will be more on the 4 wheels rather then looking back...at your past.

It is not neccessary all~ GOOD things must come to an END!

I'm thinking of changing the OEM horn to Stebel horn, DIY. Has anyone changed it, does it requiried any relay?

Yes!, Custom and Myself had changed it; and YES u need a relay; if not it can sound 1 horn but for 2 horn it sounds like "farting"...

Change to the Magnum 2 is better, Louder and sounds better (like a continental Car)...And it can Blows your ears off..

We'll be doing a short ride up over 3 days from 150705 to 170705, destination Thailand.

Itenary details are as follow:

Leaving on thursday 14th Midnight (friday 15th 0001hrs) Unless you buggers need to meet up earlier for a light supper/snack before the trip it can be arrange...

*Full Riding Gear and travel Insurance...a must!

Top up stops along (compulsory):

1. Pagoh

2. Seremban

3. Rawang

4. Tapah

5. Semangg

6. border

We should arrive Hatyai just before checkin time.

On the Sat evening, 160705, we are heading towards Penang (as this is supposed to be penang trip , anyway it will not be too siong for the riders. how thoughtful bb is )

On the way back, we'll set off on Sun, 170705 noon time to head back..

Top up stops along:

1. Juru

2. Sg Perak

3. Ulu Berok

4. Seremban

5. Pagoh

6. Esso GP

Based on BiBi's-120km/h timing(to avoid paying M's Police's personnel tax/services), we should reach GP by 2200hrs.

Costs(Fixed) per pax:

1. Accomdation : 300 baht & Rm 30 (2 nites for twin sharing)

2. Petrol : RM200+ (based on 14.5km/L (full throttle-he,he,heee!) n exc 1st top up for 1900km)

3. Thai Insurance : RM13

4. Food : 700baht/day ((S$1=Thai$23.5)) eat like king n still got alot leftover

RM100 will suffice in M'sia

5. Massage : ~240baht (If required/indivdual needs++)

Hi BackOFF,

First, there is ((No Off Topic Questions)) in here!!.. Whether it is the Stebel or other makes (after market products)... normaly comes with a relay switch. If not you can buy a 12V relay switch from automarts.

What is the relay for.. this is to prevent your horn switch contact points from being short (switch contact points from being melt/stucked) or fry the horn wirings -caused by the current that requires to drive the (after market) horns.

The (relay) only needs a small amount of current to activate a electromagnet which activates the contact point inside the relay and that activates the direct connections from the battery~ which drives the pair of horns...(always use an extra/spare fuse in your connections)

If the horn short circuit, you only need to replace the relay..rather then replacing the whole horn switch assembly. which cost $$$.

Okay Guys asusual... anybody bringing any spare (spare/emergency items) like bulbs, fuses, clutch cable, foot pump, tyre repair kits...etc

I bringing spare- diversion's cluch cable, standard tyre repair kit a foot pump incase...

So what...you guys bringing along...

BETTER BRING ALONG A GOOD RAIN SUIT- RAINING SEASON STARTED!!! mostly we will be brushing off passing clouds with heavy showers...!

It is sad another Handsome bugger ~ Uncle Custom-could not make it due to work commitment... ...

I heard that Ah Nick is likely to joint is it true..? I got a buzz by the breeze!

Well today I exhange S$1= 24.10 Thai Bath.. I changed about Sing$150/- 3600bath should be more then enough...

I think R300/- should be more then enough...if not sign first! pay later thru nose he,he,hee!

I hope you guys know~ what to do~ where to go...most likely Palary have some kind of plans in hand and hoping Euro joins us too...more lobang better....!
