Hi Yob_Rekib.

We have no objection, you are very welcome to join us...as usual, as long as you meet us at the said place before 0640hrs.

For the Trip use a proper riding jacket, shoes and full face helmet. We like to emphasis alot on safety and don't worry we all will have fun. :cheeky:

If possible try to stick some(wide) reflectors on your box. This is very useful during night rides.

A promise is a promise... only right now I've to think how to go faster than 110km/h...

hmm... using NOZS or using foot.... :giddy:

Me and my big mouth... :sian:

Only thing is I can only confirm next week.

yob_rekib,

at least a wind breaker, jean, gloves and track shoes will do the job for truck road. I think if you stay behind me will be very very safe coz my is the slowest of the fleet and the real thing is my ride can't stay at 110km/h for long.. It will break down!! will be able to maintain at abt 90km/h else my whole body will :giddy:

Anyway, really hope u can join us...

Hi rob_rekib,

Don't worry I'm trying to maintain a touring standard, If you do not have those items take your time and consider over, if you like to do tourings.

For now..! you can wear the best gear you have e.g- jeans, denim jacket, a good pair of shoes(army boots) anything as long you can keep your feet dry in the rain, helmet open face will do but I would recommed you to invest, if you are serious about future tourings...there are full face helmets under $200/- and some of the buggers in diversion are using it. And not forgetting gloves and a good pair of rain coat.

Yours' is a 600cc bike it can go 110km/h without any problem. Just Imagine phantom is following, and some buggers using leg power if their bike cannot catch up  I'm wondering too!!!

We will see how the group is made of; and don't worry no one stay/leave back.

Please join our ride!!! :cheer:

We will meet you there...! :bouncefire:

As long as you are confident of the abilities of ur bike to last the trip + u are familiar with the handling of the corners on route 3, then definately no issues.

However i would prefer if u stick to ur Diversion as it would be one worry less with comments such as that.

if more than 90km/h, I feel like go disco...

Still the final choice of what ride to take is yours.

For the TZM, the owner maintains the bike proper so i'm confident. For the Phantom, Comics00 i hope u do the same as well.

Speeds on trunk roads we'll keep to one thats comfy for all & on the NSH OTOT...

Itenery Up

------------

Basically do 3 stops till we reach the beaches of Rompin/Lanjut. Stopping for

-Breakfast

-Mersing(makan again)

-Beach(RnR)

Itenery Down

----------------

We'll retrace a part of our routes and visit some of the shops that were still closed on the way up.

We'll either turn off at route 63 thats longer or retrace our paths past Mersing till we hit route 50 for another round of curves(Jemulang).

Then we head past Kluang and rejoin the NSH till we reach GP town for some deserverd makan.

Anyway, kinda of late for me to get leave for that day so would most probable join for your next trip(s)... hopefully by then, i would be able to get some riding apparels... Anyway, :goodluck: & safe riding for those going for the trip....

:nono: do keep me informed of future trips...

Hi yob_rekib,

You're doing night shift on the 1st day- I would advise you to rest on the eve before trip. As some people haven't done a long trip(continuous riding) before... As you are not coming it is okay... We always have 1 or 2 newbies riding with us on every trip...so it is normal for us having new bugger tacking along...

We will be updating any future trips here!

Now is the time for you to do some hunting for touring...gears

1)Full face helmet. $200> don't go for style and colour- go for perfect fitting and comfort.

2)Riding jacket comes with quality paddings elbow, shoulder and back.

3)Gloves spend abit more. A good gloves can last atleast 3+yrs of everyday using.

4)Riding boots or anything simillar.

5)Riding pants it is up to you...comes with knee and hip paddings.

No One buys, all this items in one day...all of us are working and almost half are family men, we take time to buy and priority them as above...!

Hope this can help you, If you have any questions on type of items and cost ask us buggers... see you on the next trip.

Hi rob_rekib,

Helmets -get feedback from people who are using fullface helmets. as for myself using shoei X11 $600/. pricy helmet, head feels cool when on the move, noisy and water seeps through the visior during heavy down pour. Jackets have 2, 1 for local road using the tiawan made jacket(easy rider) $155/ quality okay for local use, as for touring using clover $360/ summer jacket, padding is the best and you don't feel warm- problem rain's need to use a rain coat over it. buy those dark colour so it dosen't shows how dirty it is don't worry most riding jackets comes with (3m)reflective strips. It dosen't mean you must buy the same you can look into alternative brands. you should be getting some idea.

helmet get those have removable/washable inner linnings and cheek padding. we don't mind meeting you if you want to buy something...when we are free!!!

budget yourself do some survey ask around the shops...try motorworld the gloves over there are reasonable.

Jleo,

Bye the look of your game plan for the day ride, it looks to be like the one we went for the lobster lunch, except this time round, you are heading up towards the Endau Rompin area (not turning right at the Kota Tinggi junction).

Ride carefully guys, the wet season is still on in the east coast, with flash floods occuring regularly.

Would you guys mind a SUV coming along???

To promote OMD FF helmet,

If your size is wrong, u can always buy the inner-lining to ur size. Helmet size is the same, only inner-lining makes e different.
