WD40 + Cif

Amazing what can be achieved with a little bit of effort. Old also can become new

should double check and clean it and double check again. CIF is extremely abrasive if left unwashed

very nice! but please check if the seal got damaged by cif... cif kills everything...

GT85 from maxima works as well, and it does not kill rubber rings (o-rings, x-rings) (as manufacturer says..)

thanks for the advice guys, i rinsed thoroughly, dried it and sprayed more WD40 to get the moisture out.

Personally i prefer GT85 to WD40. Been using it for like... a decade?

GT85 can use to clean chains, WD40 cannot. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

ya u are rite i use GT85 to clean my chain too but use finish very fast becos u spray at ur chain u see more and more clean den u will spray more and more

to ts, it looks really good. GT85 is very expensive. Depends on usage and rides i guess. Does it damage o rings etc? we wont know =)

It is a known fact that WD40 would harden rubber (o-rings chains and whatnot), making it brittle. Although GT85 is more expensive, it does not cause hardening of rubber.
