Think u can find a Lawyer to sue them... but if they really bo $ pay u back... n choose to serve Jail... then to u lor... u can hear wat e lawyer advise u b4 u wan the lawyer to fight for u in court.....

coz under criminal theft, its the police that is suing them now, not you. Some things are between the victim and offender, some are between the law and offender. Your case now shd be the latter.

it means tat u can't opt for pte settlement now. they ll get punished while u ll have to reclaim ur losses back from insurance & particularly in ur case where u only had 3rd party, u wun be able to reclaim anything..

 

wat i feel from a victim point of view, though levying a heavy penalty on the culprits is important, its often more important to reclaim losses.

actually, alvzz can do so... but.....

 

judging from the case, its seems almost sure tat if there would be any claims, it would be done thru small claims tribunal (>10K). sad part is, the max scenario of compensation doesn't even justify the hiring costs of engaging a barrister. on the other hand, courts fees r often alarming...

I believe both are gd in what they do, I go to Combine becos it's much nearer to home and I'm a regular there.
