indeed alot of bikes there actually the condition not so good actually.. last 2-3 weeks my friend was also asked to go m! motoring to view the 2 cbrs but condition of the bikes alrdy quite chui.. the endcan also dented..

but u have a choice of not taking the bike ma..

anyway.. on wat stated, u have to asked from them a warranty period n coverage of parts etc.. for normal servicing they will do for u..

but wear n tear parts some they wun charge, some they only charge abit.

 

my rvf was taken out from yewheng ( view @ s! ubi)

condition was jialat, i did an exchange of farrings, den 1wk + later i went back n tell them my clutch plates worn out, they changed for me free..

 

got 2 bikes from them alrdy, n in future will still..

but i only trust ah mok. =)

 

gd salesman ethics & gd aftersales service. =)

 

 

 

 

 

on the other note,

at around 3am i believe ( i was ard the junction at 3.25am) juz now. at the junction of clementi ave 6( going towards pie/aye) & commonwealth west ave towards jurong.. the big big junction.. an accident happened

saw a white color cbr with red/blue flare designs like rvf kind. + a white color helmet lying on the junction corner.. the cbr is thrashed.. 2 tps were there handling the situation + a towtruck trying to tow the cbr away..

didnt managed to see the no. plate clearly coz not very near them..

 

hope it isnt one of the bikers here who had tat accident.

if u have any friends who happened to fit into the description, give them a sms.ring to check if they're fine. =)

4700 for a fl model bike (i am ok with it as promise to provide free paintwork of any design with 3 colours, pilot power tyre and a dented gpr pipe) + 600 insurance + others total up ..

 

sat downpayment and as promise to be ready to take out 1st for normal riding on tues and others matter will have a full touch up when the painwork is ready..

 

Starting ... tues went down saleman not ard still ok lo.. the admin /office ger oso mc and they could not find the downpayment.. check cctv and cfm the $ was paid.. then when process tat time said tat insurance count wrong and need to top up another 200+ and they oso dun wish to or wan bluff my $$ de and as to no choice... told them like tat total sum of this bike even more exp and is very wrong lo as compare to market rate and etc.. but they insist tat its the insurance company rule? walao.. wtf.. and the bike is not ready tml then can take... then no choice lo.. but inform them just wanna a problem free bike as we know tat online we can just get a crb for 4k and y i choose to get from shop.. cuz just wanna be assure tat bike is under warrenty and protected..

 

then.. took out tat day found out a very cmi mistake which is so open sia.. fork oil seal leak.. walao.. then nvm lo.. ride on and check found out tat fan is not working, chain slider waer out and disc break not straight.. totally down sia.. worst part is the carb/engine timing is wrong or out badly.. nv tune and check the bike and do a touch up and giev the bike out to customer like this. .. quite disappointed.. 1st gear move off like jerking chicken ...zz.z.z.z.. pump fulll tank last then 1 day plus finish liao..

 

 

follow by.. i personally went to yeow motoring(a paintwork shop in sg which is quite famous i think) to give them my design but they told mi need to top up ard 200+... walao sian leh.. so i ask wat abt carrera design and oso need to top up 200+.. he say the motor shop only gave them a quote of 400+ design and the design i wanted is at leat 600+.. sian lo.. then i told him any design with 3 colour i wan can liao ba..

 

so as proceed.. went back to the shop and hope tat they will solve the problems of the bike...

 

the kind saleman is good enough to provide to wash the carb but the timing problem still nv solve and dun think they really check and see the bike conditions or know even how to service it.. cuz... after the 1st service.. i went to Plaza sing carpark and the bike keep dying up the ramp non stop... totally like to/need and push the bike up the slope.. then sian sia.. see see check check found out the carb there overflow or dunno wat leh.. no wonder pump and so fast finish..

 

then gave up.. ask other shops do and waste another piece of $ and wan solve this once and for all.. cuz wast lot of time and effort in this matter le..

Just came back from test riding my bike. No more stuttering when moving off, and best of all got back 1st time start.

So the battery was the culprit after all.

Anyone here got bring home a new batt and DIY install yourself. I did and it was my 1st time too.

 

Now I wondering if I did it correctly.

 

When I opened the box, inside was a white container with many partitions and and one batt with holes.

 

So as I have seen mech do this before. I opened the seal of the batt, then I placed the white container with the liquid on top of it and pop it and liquid went into the batt, usually I see mech will squeeze to make it flow faster, but I was patient and waited for it to flow in completely.

 

Ok this is the part I dunno if I screwed up. After the liquid was in, I tried to close the lid that says "DO NOT OPEN". But I could not close it as the liquid was reacting to the batt and there were gas produced. So I waited awhile till the reaction was lesser then I closed the lid. Ok the thing that I think I screwed up is, I think I should have waited till there was totally no more reaction then closed the lid. Any one knows if there is any significance to when you close the lid? Thanks.

anyway.. the only thing tat is cool of the bike is tat it can back fire easily without using the switch on/off technic.. just throttle 3/4 times can liao.. and after tat each throttle will backfire.. was amaze and shock sia.. scary.. i thou gpr pipe lousy .. cuz as mentioned the bike die off easily when move off/1st gear .. so at traffic light and carpark.. i wan push out the black carbon because i very angry with the bike .. i throttle alot and found out ..

 

btw.. is this gd/bad for the bike? or i wat thinkg back ... to the point tat is this the timing/engine tuning/timing problem again izit?

which bloody shop did you go ? i didnt catch it .

you got to go down to the shop you buy this asap to get it all settled , dun bother on the paintwork first . outlook isnt anythin with a machine that cant work .

seriously jux bring it back and get them fix it in front of you . see and keep shootin them the problem you have .

Oh yes..Wad coolant are you guys using? I am using the super lousy coolant and it gets hot easily fan working, water pump working as it is brand new..

just to share y i so piss of with the bike.. the total cost of it on the road is 6.1k sia..

 

feel tat the saleman quite ok and gd to tok with as may wan to maintain a smooth r/s with him / keep in contact in future for more deal and etc.. so buy it lo..

 

4700 for a fl model bike (i am ok with it as promise to provide free paintwork of any design with 3 colours, pilot power tyre and a dented gpr pipe) + 600 insurance + others total up ..

 

sat downpayment and as promise to be ready to take out 1st for normal riding on tues and others matter will have a full touch up when the painwork is ready..

 

Starting ... tues went down saleman not ard still ok lo.. the admin /office ger oso mc and they could not find the downpayment.. check cctv and cfm the $ was paid.. then when process tat time said tat insurance count wrong and need to top up another 200+ and they oso dun wish to or wan bluff my $$ de and as to no choice... told them like tat total sum of this bike even more exp and is very wrong lo as compare to market rate and etc.. but they insist tat its the insurance company rule? walao.. wtf.. and the bike is not ready tml then can take... then no choice lo.. but inform them just wanna a problem free bike as we know tat online we can just get a crb for 4k and y i choose to get from shop.. cuz just wanna be assure tat bike is under warrenty and protected..

 

then.. took out tat day found out a very cmi mistake which is so open sia.. fork oil seal leak.. walao.. then nvm lo.. ride on and check found out tat fan is not working, chain slider waer out and disc break not straight.. totally down sia.. worst part is the carb/engine timing is wrong or out badly.. nv tune and check the bike and do a touch up and giev the bike out to customer like this. .. quite disappointed.. 1st gear move off like jerking chicken ...zz.z.z.z.. pump fulll tank last then 1 day plus finish liao..

 

 

follow by.. i personally went to yeow motoring(a paintwork shop in sg which is quite famous i think) to give them my design but they told mi need to top up ard 200+... walao sian leh.. so i ask wat abt carrera design and oso need to top up 200+.. he say the motor shop only gave them a quote of 400+ design and the design i wanted is at leat 600+.. sian lo.. then i told him any design with 3 colour i wan can liao ba..

 

so as proceed.. went back to the shop and hope tat they will solve the problems of the bike...

 

the kind saleman is good enough to provide to wash the carb but the timing problem still nv solve and dun think they really check and see the bike conditions or know even how to service it.. cuz... after the 1st service.. i went to Plaza sing carpark and the bike keep dying up the ramp non stop... totally like to/need and push the bike up the slope.. then sian sia.. see see check check found out the carb there overflow or dunno wat leh.. no wonder pump and so fast finish..

yah.. paintwork is not important at all.. i wish u good luck bro.. if u can go back to the shop and get them fix the problems for u( which i seriously doubt so).. y didnt u test the bike in the first place b4 giving away ur cash.. in the first place when they sae ur insurance 600++, u hv to get them to lay it down black n white.. tat is the reason y i dun get my bikes from bikeshop ever since my SP days.. recently got my wave frm a bike shop also gt some minor problems..

 

once u kena sweeet-talked by the sales man, den gg liao.. wad are sales man for bro.. to talk and talk and talk u into parting ur cash.. once u give cash liao, they definitely change face de.. if the bikes in the bikeshop are so good, dun need to employ salesman liao.. jus goin by their reputation is good enough(eg loois motor).. i will still suggest to get ur engine checked out first la.. go to a trust worthy shop..

Why dun you change coolant to coolaide? Or you can try the voltronic coolant also.

 

I'll be DIY changing my coolant soon. One of the thing I plan to do when I change coolant is to wash my coolant reservoir. When open the cap can see the walls of the reservoir with black black stuff.

I bought a baby bottle brush to stuff it in to wash.

 

If I'm not wrong, to remove the reservoir you need to take out the suspension.
