o... so OEM is = chiong 1 la haha... yea mine is OEM... but i tink its gd enuf la haha... eh.. yea no air coolin inside so the temp will rise.... tts y sometimes realli hate the jams nowadays too easy to buy cars liao.... loads of cars ard... esp PIE CTE all tis... almost all the time jam....

its been so long...

since we going mersing this sat, i think is best to meet u on friday nite..

then i do the bleeding for the brake system. need u to bring the necessary equipment cos my current bike have limited compartment..

1. size 8 and size 10 ring spanner

2. a bottle of brake fluid(any DOT from 3 to 5.1 except 5)

3. an empty bottle

4. half a metre of air tube(bought from fish shop)

haha!!! i think aalex82 purposely ask u call up boon siew ask... Cos they are agents. Always a price higher than dealers... Regardless of bikes or parts...

Hua Chin is selling for like $200+ odd including installation.

Probably i'll just buy the coil off from them.

Change it at HKL when i do my next full servicing in about 2k km more?

Perhaps you would like to ask around 1st. Some quote higher, some quote lower. Some got got skill some just basic knowledge. Some take pride in their job, some just to pass a day.

 

So if 1 day u pay less but workmanship no good, other prob might surface. If 1 day u pay more but so far all goes well, u have 1 lesser things to worry. But no guarantees lah... All is a risk & ur level of knowing that particular mech/boss/shop :thumb:

from my experience, the dealer for the honda parts are FJT, chong aik and eversuccess..

last time there is someone to do coil repair where the uncle will remove all the wires coil and coil it wif a new wire.

but hearsay is that dun last long and the uncle no do le.

coil how to chiong? unless u get replacement part from other model.

or can use 2nd hand coil where the bike have being scrap..

to check whether the coil is working is not juz base on the voltage reading from the harness/batt.. u have to check the coil itself..

last time i have post a lengthy post on how to check the charging system..

search around..
