is not shag... is si beh shag... haha... especially you ride halfway feel something not right go check then realise this spoil that spoil... then like all bike lovers... we will want the best for our bikes always go for the best parts... the first 6mths most shag one... juz buy bike then servicing and change parts... xiong like siao...

 

 

but after you rebuild it the sound and the riding experience is really good... performance wise i only short of one more item... header...

 

 

anyone got l model header or hurricane header??? haha...

what causes the CDI to melt and have this glue thing that keep sticking onto my canvas. it's v irritating.

from what ive gathered abt CBR400 it tends to have quite a few problems like radiator, magneto coil, rectifier, water pump etc etc... is there any way to check if these things are in working order or is it a buy and see and scold the guy who sold it to you?

alot of things v hard to see... when buying juz check that the fork, chasis, listen to the idling to see if its constant and the other stuff that u mentioned lor....

 

electronic stuff v hard to see... unless you take out the fairings... most of the time when viewing still working but ride awhile this one spoil that one spoil... sigh... alot of pple think buy cbr is becoz no money buy rvf then settle for second choice...

 

when i buy cbr all my friends say i stupid y never buy rvf... but alot of pple only see the machine price never factor in the rebuilding... cbr i dare to say unless u v v v lucky to get one that has been extremely well taken care of by previous owners, most of the time after buying confirm got some wear and tear..

 

but its not as problematic as pple say... its only initially maybe you need to go to bike shop a few times... frankly i think my previous sp more prob...

in order to check the bike well..

u will need alot of time and some tools like multimeter..

oso have to see the seller willing to let u carry out the checking..

need to remove rite side fairing, seat and many more..

juz check the engine idling, main frame, sub frame, triple clamp, forks for sign of accidents or dent..

same thing happen to me.. dunnoe wad my mechanic do. clean the stain at the cdi den change wiring abit den no glue stain liao..

btw where do u guys put ur iu unit ? left right centre?

 

i just realise that after i change to tinted bubble my iu unit affected. like doesnt make sense rite? meaning cant detected properly. just come back from vicom. dey told me that neeed to shift the iu unit.
