Gd morning all..

I did the direct opposite. Sold my CBR4 for a DRZ 3 weeks ago.

 

During my 8months with the CBR, i spent almost 1.5k for repairs, and another 1k for accessories and maintenance.

And I only rode the bike for weekends cos Im still in NS.

I sold my CBR4 to Republic. Its still up for sale i think.

 

1.5k for repairs and another 1k for accessories?? mind sharing a price break down for the repairs and accessories?? i went to view 2 cbrs last week, one with modded fairing (looks like cbr1k) but stock condition and one with lots of mods and accessories (power abuser, ignite, leds, lever)...

 

would appreciate if i can get a rough estimate of how much it will be should i need to fix up radiator, starter relay, wiring, service and tune carbs....

 

edit: your cbr 400 at republic is it the white and green one??

hmm, how long you ride on the road since start bike ? maybe air flow ratio don't match, not 100% sure also la.

I dekitted my accesorries and split it among my friends. Thats why you would see unmatched headlights and brand new stock levers. My HIDs and shorty levers all dekitted.

 

Yep. But now the condition of the bike looks worst. They have swopped to lousy balding tyres. I sold it off with relatively fresh tyres. Oh well. Thats how shops do business i guess. Haha.

was a good idea to strip the accessories off your bike before pushing to the shop... so sad to see them jack up the price like that on your bike...

was a good idea to strip the accessories off your bike before pushing to the shop... so sad to see them jack up the price like that on your bike...

 

Yea, I dont really like to talk and build rapport with shops tat sell bikes. Its of no use i guess.

 

 

I still have my HIDs dekitted from my CBR4. Not those 70dollars kit you see on forum. Comes with the rare wire harness so that the HID wont blink and would need time to charge up. Just switch beam and it will blind, I mean shine.

 

Selling for 190 for a pair! Just PM me.

DRZ is fun play bike.

 

CBR too uptight to loose free and play crazy! HAHA

 

Anyway now in NS, i dont need CBR's speed to go NSHW that often too.

But I still miss sportsbikes.

Full tank is 9l plus i guess. Hits reserve at 7l.

 

On my stock carb, 3x3 airbox mod and lv endcan setup im getting 22km/l plus if all out crazy play. Average is 25km/l.

 

Ever hit 28km/l. But I dont seem to be able to get that again.

y u need to buy handle bar unless u are involved in a very bad accident?? budget wise u can try scrap yards...
