Its a tricky question.

 

There are new parts, but depends which parts also.

Some have to wait a long time for shipment, for eg, The wireharness is most of the time out of stock.

I guess you're using stock pipe right?

 

Just go on out to 2nd link or NSHW to clear carbon.

 

Most ppl dont ride the CBR4 as a sportsbike. They short change the gears and worry it will breakdown.

The bike is so well designed with tall gears, just go out and drag the rpm range! Youll feel its good!

But of course, at your own risk.

 

The last time i dragged my 2nd gear, my sprocket sub oil seal broke. Its just all the wear and tear parts.

Slowly replace the parts and youll be enjoying the ride!

yeap... check ur radiator hoses... might haf holes etc... or even ur water pump and stuff most shops will just flush ur coolant and check if ur radiator or any others that i stated r faulty... to change a new radiator should cost easily $400... water pump shld b ard 200?? not so sure on that... afterall its a old bike oredi.. might not noe if the previous owner did service his bike proper anot yea?

mine also very hot, think it's pretty normal to be hot while you stop at traffic light or jam. After you move off and ride at a constant speed, it should drop back to 1/4 i would say.

check whether your rectifier is fried first, if not you change new batt, then new batt spoil again

guys , FM plate is R model ? any other ways to check model other den below the pillion seat sticker or log card ? cause the sticker is missing and the log card only put CBR400RR

hey can i ask u guys ar my cbr 400 has got some mini back fires not one big loud bang but like pla pla pla like that when moving off frm gear one its random doesn happen always but when it back fires, there is no power like tt... but after i throttle a few times while clutching in and try again it wun happen but sometimes it will... any idea y like tt?? tt time the bike shop say its the spark plug but after changing ok... after a while back to same prob again.....

the chasis serial number can know what model it is.but i forgt what number to what number liao lol
