Guys got a prob with my bike. Bought over from a guy and it was running fine. Decided to change headlights to the white headlights, after doing so, bike couldn't run properly. Ride a while then bike dies. Start up without headlights, ok but with headlights, can't really start. If continue cranking engine then batt slowly gets weaker and weaker. Leave it for a few hours by itself then it'll be able to start without the headlights. Most prob the headlights consume too much power causing the whole bike to die? What should I do? Thanks for the help! :)

change back to yellow halogen.

most prob rectifier and batt prob.

some say white bulbs will over heat your switches.

Does this mean I have to change rectifier or Bart or just change back to yellow bulb? Thanks! Is there a possibility that the magnacoil is spoilt?

good sunday guys,

 

wana ask if all ur blades' IU on the left side. if so ever encounter problems entering carpark with gantry, e.g no IU detected??

will it be better to change to right side? well, mine does at times...

yup bro, encounter before haha mine also on left side. best is if got detachable IU, stick it right up to the sensor at the gantry.

yup it is a problem with the headlights, mine previously was the yellow headlights but wrong wattage and got same symptoms as yours, cannot start bike with lights on. If your alternator (magnacoil) spoil, it will be more jia lat, best case scenario is your alternator only can charge enought to maintain your bike running but not enough to charge battery, so if you stop and try and start again, you cant start then you have to push start liao. worse case scenario is the alternator totally busted, cannot even charge enough to maintain your bike running. but then again these symptoms could also be due to the rectifier. So you can check to see if your rectifier working by feeling if it is warm or not, if it is working, it should feel warm thats why got the cooling fins on the surface of the rectifier. should definitely take the other riders' advice to change back to the original headlights first. my mechanic told me that for babyblade, the battery is undersized so cant overwork the electrics too much if not will run into problems. my mechanic changed the correct wattage bulbs for me recently and can start bike with lights on already.

Hi guys, i'm new here.. just got my cbr400 a week ago.. wanted to install a voltmeter and slider to it.. roughly, how much will it cost? i just want a cheap and durable one.. thanks..

does it work if u change it to the same position but on the right side of the bike? i had this problem too and its very troublesome..

hello pple.... i juz get my cl 2a not long... been considering cbr 400 and s4.. can u all tell me more abt cbr400? i noe it is a old bike. so is there really going to be alot of problems when getting this bike? and i dun really noe the models.... can u all tell me? what should i look out for when getting the cbr 400? so i wont be con..... thanks

How to differentiate between the 4 models ?

 

i know of a guy who is a pro in CBR. pm me i give you his number?

all i know is he rides a cbr with stock paintwork. and gpr slip on which is louder than class2 bikes. some say ducati see alr no fight. haha.
