Hi there wud like to check wif u guys my fren recently bought cbrfireblade... For sure fireblade haf overheat prob.. But now wen e bike was on e move suddenly whole bike shut down... Change battery 2x.. Rectifier 3x... Even shop say bike no prob wad... Mayb u guys can assist me? Pm me ur contact too. Tanx for ur guidance....

Long nvr reply here coz not much tech questions....CBR got heating probs definately no matter wat farking coolant u use...so STOP buying the same rad when u change them..juz use bigger ones..I use ZXR ones like in Japan ..even with no fan nvr overheat.

Change batt and rectifier 2x for wat?1st check if charging is there..then see wat caused bike shut down..most probable is electrical system and wiring coz mechanical dun just shut down like dat...

Can anyone share with me on where to get volt stabilizer for babyblade? PC3 can be fitted into the machine? Great bike though, bought it for $4.8k, L model, yoshi end can included, insurance $300+ ntuc, tuned at HKL, just change the wire harness and it stopped giving me probs, changed oil filter, fuel filter, iridium plugs, maxima EO, new chain, Pirelli diablo tyres, new on/off switch, bought the bike on February, thought of changing to RC211V kit but kinda waste of $$$, but I saw the pillion foot rest can be changed to modern ones and higher rear shocks, where to get those? Saw a pimped out babyblade at racewerkz bukit merah, damn cool. Drooling...

 

Please kindly advise me newbie.

Good stabilizer get from Eso Sytems-91479459 proper stabilizer and not those copies on the market...CBR dun use PC3 as the PC3's are for EFI only,CBR carbs so use race CDI or HRC CDI's...if programmable CDI's exp from Europe..just set the STD bike first ah..

there is charging.. both time when e mechanic show me there charging light on e meter... hmmm i guess so might be e wiring harness part.. tot any1 of u cud come by to see e mtr bike prob...

Check if the CDI is leaking... It's located at the left side of the pillion seat... If u touch the bottom part of the left rear fairing and there's something sticky like contact glue, time to change CDI...

Just remembered something important... Your shop open the engine to check piston and block? If its not checked, they can't say no problem... Cos they can't see the problem... And I've got a feeling that the bike piston ceased before... Encountered the same thing with my 2b bike before... Just check the piston and block, if there's scratches there, must overhaul...
