using a multimeter can help in checking..

for rectifier going to spoil, check the 5 wires attach to it..

normally it will be melted or the rect will be very hot when u touch after a ride..

ya lor scalli one day any of the rider bad mood then wave at him then he get the wrong idea flare up then chase me stop me n whack me how ? :cheeky:

u always at dam riding like rushing for time..

5 wires attached to rectifier? not sure where the rectifier is? anyway thanks for the info...

 

for the spoil i experienced lagness in throttle control, and stall engine if head light is switch on when stopping...... :(

I know im slow but im not a tortoise...

cos the cbr i saw is plain white paintwork rushing around dam..

he like to wear white ff helmet..

the rect is located at the left side of sub frame..

u open yr pillion seat, look inside, to the left..

you guys recommend BMC or KNN air filter?

BTW, any recommendation for shop to change magnetic coil and rectifer? and how much? my bike shop dont seems to willing fix it, since the first day when i got this problem. Gave me too many excuses till i sian liao....

 

Guys when u get bike better to test run it if not dun buy, although u cant find lots of problem but still u tried it..... good luck.

i ve changed Magnetic coil beforemy trip up north last yr for $270 at HKL.

The old one was partially burnt causing a poor charging at higher RPM.

2002 - 2005 : NSR150SP

2005 - 2008 : CBR400RRL

2008 - : Wave S 125

 

Since June 2006 :Touring ( History )

 

Yoshimura.Pivot.Hel.Haris.Bridgestone.NgkIridium. AFAM.DID.Broquet.Kenso.Motul.K&N.HRC.

RAWRS. angry manz. my bike kena hit by another bike which got knocked down by something. one 2cm long .5cm wide , 1cm deep hole and some cracks on my left middle fairing. how much u guys think this need to fix ?
