u open the rider seat, when u press the start button, any tick sound coming from yr seat??

is yr charging system ok?? batt ok??

maybe is the carbon starter use up??

Batt jus changed.. so cannot be... the charging system is wad... u mean the rectifier..?? and wad is the carbon starter..?? plz enlighten..

Initially i start in the morning still can... but engine sound very rough... haf to keep throttling to keep the engine going.. after i let go throttle to let it idle and warm up... the engine jus dies off on its on.. den when i try to start again.. cannot le... it dies on me liao...

i kena report by lta. ask to go for inspection and they say muz have light to shine the plate no. aniwae riders out there which have some illegal stuffs on bikes, watch out for LTA cars (blue colour with LTA logo) now doing patrols at carparks... Found u got sumtink they will sent u letter for inspection
then no choice. they cant see my bike.

spark plugs or fuel pump. no point guessing where is the problem as only u know the situation well. go to a gd bike shop for a check.

is it possible to install a fuel gauge on CBR..?? cos without it i always forget to topup petrol...?? or any other ways to keep track of fuel content..? other than clocking mileage

due to the shape of the fuel tank..

even u install a aftermkt guage, the accuracy will not be there..

try to cultivate the habit of uclocking milage..

there are many methods to perform in order to check yr bike condition..

u can do wat lorddevil mention.. go to a gd bike shop..

unless u like mi, like to found the problem.. like to noe how bike works..

zal_09, what happen to ur radiator ? leaking ??

u can try to check on ur own. By pressing at the big tube near the radiator. if its harden, press like got crack feeling, i guess ur tubes are damage and causing clog to ur radiator.

if u need a good bike shop... i think u can try planet.

i got briefly go thru the other thread on the last page..

the interval for changing this and that is ok..

onli the engine oil interval u doubt rite??

the manual for the bike is not mistaken.. is true can use up to 10,000km b4 changing.. however, singapore is a tropical city where traffic jams and hot weather riding with restricted air flow will experience often..

this will increase the rate of breaking down of engine oil properties.. therefore there is a need to change engine oil more often compare to the service manual stated..

just monitor the mileage. still got reserve.

kick to higher gear, push while clutching in, release the clutch when u feel the bike is starting. clutch in asap when the engine is running. brake immediately and most importantly dun throttle.
