hey just got my gilera 2 stroke not long ago.

when i off my throttle, the bike keeps shaking until a very low speed then it smoothens down. advices?

what i did was to just top up my 2T together in the tank everytime i pump my petrol. sooner or later the 2T from your 2T pump will finish up.

are you using the inverted fork ?

lol......i think it's clutch slip ah.

there's no glass in our bikes.....just get it service.

umm when ur petrol spill.. haha kidding.. its hard to tell when its full but for me i always use a flashlight to shine into d tank to check d petrol level each time i top up.

you could try checking your cone bearing and the bearings on your tyres.

it will most probably be because of these 2 problems.

 

for me, i don't usually pump petrol till its full. since i'm using premix, i would usually pump 6/L of petrol, with ard 120ml of 2T.

 

but if you really wanna pump till its full, just wait till the loud 'click' sound appears and it stops pumping. after which, you can't really pump that much and it doesnt make a difference to me either.

why don't you try sending your bike for a full service ? I think it would resolve most of the problems your facing at the moment.. my guess would be normal wear and tear cause our bikes are kinda old..

Other shops buy it from Malossi agent.

unless u wanna get a 3rd party mudguard.

Coz there's no other design same like ice mudguard.

Just wanna share some news about my late buddy, Farhan.

 

He Met an accident at ECP towards Changi with an unexpected flying car from opposite side of expressway towards his direction of way. Incident happen on 18th October 09 at around 6.30pm. He was on his way to fetch his girlfriend to my wedding dinner reception as I knew it coz he spoke to my wife the day before that he will attend to our wedding dinner. I've read some article online saying that the flying car was a lady driver. It says that one of the car front is badly smashed and victim bike stuck under car. The other opposite direction was another 2 car accident that links to opposite side of accident. He couldn't escape the accident coz it was a shock incident in a split seconds. He flung off from the bike and badly injured on his left side of his body. Blood and abrassion was all over him. Witness says that when ambulance arrive, they fixed him with a neck brace and many people see him lying on the road. He was still alive at that point of time coz there was some movement. Straight to SGH icu for emergency. He pronounce dead an hour later in the theatre room. Felt sorry for him. I guess GOD loves him more.

 

-this incident news was taken from 4 parts of link, newspaper, online witness, relative and buddies. I compiled it all so as to have some clear mind that what had really happen to him. Thanx for reading this detailed article of mine.
